Very nice CB 550, but price seem to be a bit high. 1975 CB 550 F - Complete rebuild Cafe/Brat |
^ Fuckin East Van hipsters... Don't get me wrong, that thing is cool, but I don't understand how you have the audacity to think you can buy a bike for $1000, say you have $6000 in receipts, and expect to sell it for $7000. Shit doesn't work like that. I would MAYBE pay $5000 for that thing if it was immaculate down to the last bolt, and needed absolutely nothing. |
Just another dumbass trying to make a name for himself as a custom builder. Its the only build "featured" on that website.. he probably owns that too. My build has a custom working monoshock + modern front end and some very expensive parts and I am nowhere near that number. |
Sunfighter!!! Are you selling your 675?!?!?! 2006 Triumph Daytona 675 Showbike |
Maybe. :(. Had a couple of offers so far that I turned down. I just know that if I get on it again it'll be impossible to get off ... So knowing the condition it's in right now, now is the time to sell it if I'm ever going to... I'm just not in a hurry to see it go :( |

Nevertheless all the best and I at least hope it goes to a good owner :) |
Thanks, Glaedr. :) My hope is still to keep it. I greatly appreciate the kind comments. |
Street Bike Done Rite $12,888 Huuuuhhhhhhh......... The bike is 5 years old with 8467 KMs on it ... not bad. The (pearl) white Special Editions with the blue frame are really popular... but... at $12,888 that's more than the bike would have been brand new and his comment, "All this bike Will do is go up in value," might be a little off... good luck to him, regardless! -confirmed, bike was $11,999 CDN new. |

People are hoping that supply and demand are on their side. That Ruck is cool but I'd give him maybe $5-6k tops. And the placement of the rad is questionable unless one likes toasted legs. |

He sold his Custom GY6 Ruck for $7K. To some it may not be worth that much, but there are also tonnes of people out there with money that would buy this. Hell a turbo ruck goes for about $10K, and doesn't go nowhere near as fast as the CBRUCK. Not to mention the headaches of tuning GY6 motor. |

I used to have a yamaha bws with a race 2-stroke 80cc making around 16hp at the crank (plus upgraded trans, cdi etc). It was fast up to 80km/h but still no where near as quick as my sportbikes, it also only cost $2200 (including purchasing the scooter). |
It goes like stink for a 13HP motor. I love my CBR 125R and think a Ruckus with a 125R motor in it is sweet. But there are way better ways to spend $12k. Given the Ruck's cult status, it'll probably sell for something big. |

buying a ruckus is like buying a harley. you buy it for the culture/community. there are far more better bikes than harley but people buy it still. having a one off ruckus might nbot be appealing for other (mostly cost vs. benefit factor) but its awesome for ruckus people |
minus the rad placement, thats pretty badass :lol |

I'm not too big on buying previously owned helmets due to the unknown but came across this Pista GP on CL and pretty good deal for someone. AGV PISTA GP 46 size Large |

if you ever crashed the "CBRUCK" or the GY6 one also, unless you changed your registration and were paying the correct rate class you would be denied coverage or at best offered the value of a normal ruckus. |
