I need to try this

My favorite way of making instant noodles is taking a spicy instant noodle (eg Nom Shim) and putting a tablespoonful of Chinese vinegar in = instant hot + sour instant noodles! :fuckyea:

It was also rated the #1 instant noodle of all time by ramen eater lol.

Mi goreng mixed with marinated pig ear with shredded seaweed on top. *drool*

I go through phases of favorite noodles but would typically put pieces of chicken thigh, beef or chicken ball, sausage, or spam. Sometimes a combination of them as well. Then every once in a while I go straight plain noodle only.

These are awesome but it's not the price that's brutal. Read the nutritional info 1 is over your daily sodium intake. It's insane. I stopped rocking them because it was just too stupid. But so good.

Nissin is what I was raised on. All the flavours are awesome but I like making it lo mein style sometimes. Boil noodles drain water then mix in the seasoning. They used to make a specific one for lo mein styles but I can't find it anymore.

Red, curry, seafood are my defaults. The occasional red Sapporo ichiban as well. Like most folks I'll poach an egg or 2 and whatever's around to throw in.

Argh! I was so mad when they stopped selling/making the lo mein one.

but prima taste laksa is seriously the best !!!! and yes i did read the back and it is freakishly high in salt.

I usually just use half the seasoning.

besides... eating instant noodles is already bad... might as well indulge.

was waiting for my dad today for dinner & pop in to the supermarket near by & there was a free tasting on nong shin cheese kimchi noodle

must say :notbad: & will be going back to pick up a pack tomorrow

This is one of my favorite comfort foods, especially in the winter.

Nissin XO sauce seafood flavour: :fuckyea:

-add some shrimp to it for that extra seafood taste.

All brands that I have ever tried of instant pho taste god awful and uncomparable to the real thing. Avoid with caution at all costs

H-mart on north road carries them. I usually dont put all the sauce on it but I just save the sauce for later. Its way too spicy with all the sauce in there..

HonestTea 11-07-2015 01:18 PM

Same...I usually pour half of the sauce in and it's still pretty spicy..

A few years ago I got Nissin Tokyo Shoyu from T&T. Now I cant find it anymore. Not to be confused with Nissin Tonkatsu.

Hmart downtown has it too. There's two flavours I've seen, squid and chicken. I like the taste.

I can't find the normal tonkatsu one anymore, just the one with black garlic.
