Anyone have those bib pants/overalls? Really thinking of getting some... http://images.the-house.com/northfac...lk-15-zoom.jpg |
Cypress was pretty decent, put in a lot of runs today. Line up was very minimal which was great. Couldn't use my silver season pass today, but got 60% off though |

Stayed at Sun Peaks over Christmas break. Snow was awesome, and although it was cold, it was awesome fun. At one point, it was -30 with windchill near the top. At the top of one chair, the wind was literally pushing us around. Totally not worth freezing my hand to get a snapchat. Some pics. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps0yhogwod.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/k...psozyoptv5.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/k...psdio0npaz.jpg I honestly didn't really mind the cold; it just means less people came out. There were literally no lines at any of the lifts till about 11 am, which was sick. |
Just got back from manning park. If you're a diamond pro , you'll be okay.. But If you're a noob-semiokay, those chairlifts are fuckin garbage.. My god. Makes cypress lifts feel like a flying magic carpet. They go so fast.. And the staff today were incompetent and fighting over who " helps the ppl stand proper so the chair comes right behind you without trying to take you out " |

Anyone going up to cypress tomorrow? |
Cypress is pretty good right now http://i59.tinypic.com/99gned.jpg |
Cypress was very good today, lots of fresh powder. Got stuck in the snow, lol so much for the 2cm they were suppose to have http://i58.tinypic.com/2v80s46.jpg |

It was a little unfortunate about all the stuff under sky chair; basically a foot of fresh on top of the hardest hard pack. There were some sweet lines to be had on the side of ripcord. The real magic was happening on bowen, horizon, and humpty dumpty. They totally could have opened them fully, but I guess the creek crossings were what was keeping them. Didn't have a go on top gun though :dead: Probably one of the best cypress days in recent memory |

Yes one of the best cypress days I've had in a while |
Hmm. I should have gone but thought it would be shit packed. Heading up whistler tomorrow. Hopefully it stays cold for at least the first few hours of the day. |

Going to be a classic whis day tomorrow. Enjoy it. Puking down snow :toot: |
went to cypress in the early afternoon, it was pretty packed. spent more time in the lineups than it took to go down the run |
hit up the hills soon guys. the freezing level is forecasted to go sky high, leaving rain for few days :( |
Planning to hit up Cypress on Saturday. My 2nd time snowboarding. |

Sea to sky looks pretty bad for those that are going up From Facebook Snowstorm wallops Sea to Sky Highway, brings traffic to crawl (PHOTOS) |
For years, I've been going to Cypress Mountain and been boarding for pretty long. Once in whistler 4 years ago. I picked up a new freestyle board (just the board) which is designed for more ground work and buttering. So a quick question comes to mind, which mountain would you think has more flat and smooth run? Cypress "Panorama" run is not too bad. And the beginner run which I forgot what it's called. The one with a super slow chair lift lol. Looking at kakucaekz's pictures of Sun Peak, that looks so amazing. Wide, flat, smooth run that's great for buttering and ground work. Even a nice terrain park as well. Although it's quite of a far drive. Maybe I'll consider going with a few friends and stay in. I don't remember any runs in Grouse Mountain and I've never been to Seymour. What do you guys think? Any inputs would be great! Thanks |

Cypress as both panorama and collins. Fuck seymour. Whistler is just a massive playground. I mean seriously you could spend days up there and have fun absolutely everywhere. Big white is sweet. They usually have a sweet small rail line which is fun to learn presses and butters on. Also tons of terrain here as well. Havn't been to sun peaks in a few years, i'm, sure its good though. |
Company's ski trip later on this month between 23-25, going to Big White. Hope to see some awesome conditions! |
