Gym Rental

Hey guys

Has anyone ever organized a weekly gym rental space before?

I'm looking to setup a weekly multi sports gym for floor hockey, indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball and badminton. Space needs to fit about 30 adults.

Does the facility include equipment rental? There any major restrictions on equipment you can bring in?

I've left voicemail for city of Vancouver, Burnaby and the two school boards as well, but any insight would help

Killarney community center opened up a gym for us. I believe it was also around the 60/hr range.

We had to request vball net + soccer net (red hockey net) + basketball from them. No additional charge as far as I was aware.

you can rent school gyms and youth (YMCA or boy & girls clubs) facilities as well. I think the only restriction is anything that would/could damage the wax flooring in the gym and none marking shoes.

While the school strike is on, you will not be able to rent their gyms.
Your options will be community centres and church gyms.

Just curious, does anyone know which gyms are ideal for Basketball, Volleyball and Dodgeball?

I tried booking Burnaby South, but they're fully booked all year
