[Q] Network Frequency Bands Compatibility

1 Attachment(s)
So I brought over a Galaxy S5 (sm-g900l) from Korea and wanted to use it here. I'm already using it with a telus sim but the LTE is not working, only 3g.

Did some quick googling and I believe its because the phone doesnt support the telus LTE band?

The band specs for my phone are:

Infrastructure 4G LTE
2G GSM B10 (E-GSM 900MHz), B13 (DCS 1800MHz), B14 (PCS 1900MHz)
3G UMTS B1 (IMT 2100MHz), B2 (PCS 1900MHz), B5 (US 850MHz Cellular)
4G LTE B1 (2100), B3 (1800), B5 (850), B7 (2600)

Does that mean LTE will work on B7 (2600) which Bell and rogers has?
Do rogers/bell support B7 in vancouver or is it a toronto thing?
Will telus ever get B7?

Thanks.

I dont think 2600 is used widely.. some places.. I believe robelus would focus and deploy the 700mhz first.. as it costs less and requires less towers... 2600mhz is more of a backup and in places outside the city...

All carriers here are on band 4 LTE. 700 is newly available freq which I don't believe has been implemented here. 2600 is also too high so the building penetration at that frequency will suck.
