Does anybody want photos of their car?
 

Hey y'all. I'm a freelance journalist and amateur photographer, and I'm interested in doing some photo essays of local cars as a way of practicing my craft. Once I've got a few of them done I'm gonna throw up a website, and the photos will go up on Flickr and all that in the mean time.

To start off, I'd like to find a few local people with cool cars who are down to spend a couple hours getting photos of their car taken and talking to me about their car's history. I get practice, you get cool photos of your car.

If you're interested, PM me or post in this thread with a picture of your ride (cell phone snaps are fine). I'm mostly into weird old cars, so bonus points if you have one of those!

If you are ever out in the Fraser Valley would be cool to get someone to shoot the IS.

Are you looking to do something similar to car reviews? Or are you more so looking at the photographic side of things. Just curious. I'm sure a fair amount of people on revscene would give you some seat time in their cars to give you a broader spectrum of cars

No reviews, more like the write-ups that Stanceworks does, where they take a bunch of really nice photos and put them up alongside some words about the car's history.
