Yeah, let's have a Revscene circle jerk in Gastown so multicartural doesn't have to fire up his 5.0 E36 while we talk about hot Asian girls who've got more money to blow than all our loads combined.
My parents are self made and worth a fair bob, difference is I'm not getting a penny of it unless there's left over when they die, and I don't want there to be a penny, they taught me to educate myself, work hard, live within my means, etc. they should enjoy every penny of their fortune, heck, they can blow it all and my siblings and I will support them in their golden years... All Bc I know when I retire I'll be rich as fuck in the back of the lessons they taught me.
I wonder what would happen if these cunts lost their daddy's worth, and daddy, for some reason, lost all his money. I'd imagine they'd be as worthless as they appear.
Earned wealth is sweeter to spend, invest, burn, whatever u do, than given money.
I completely understand where you're coming from. I bet none of these girls could survive out in the real world. But, what you're saying is simply your opinion and your ideals.
I definitely don't agree with your last line. In my experiences, earned income is tougher to spend. Why, because I know the value of money. I can't "burn" money the same way these rich people can. And when I say, "Rich" I'm not talking about one or two million here, heck even $10 million doesn't even touch the girls in this show.
Is it their fault they grew up with money? How are they supposed to know the value of money if their parents and environment never taught them?
you're born into a caste, and it's very hard to break out of it.
I feel a deep sense of shame if I have to eventually settle for less than what my parents started with, a house at 308 west 22nd street in Vancouver. I was born there, but the house was lost in my parent's divorce. Feels shitty man
This is why I know I need to make at least 250k per year to have a decent lifestyle in #Vancouver, I want better than Cambie and 25th
Couldn't understand what he was trying to say as well. I wouldn't use the word hatred, but my annoyance at these useless rich twats has nothing to do with how wealthy they are.

Whether you see it or not, your parents being wealthy have played a major part of life, similarly like these girls.

I grew up with little. Their wealth is a result in later life down to hard work and persistence. I was already educated (or most of the way there) by time I'd say they became wealthy.
So, no, all the things I have been given is from being brought up wih the attitude that u get given nothing in life, u must earn it through hard work

U misread my last line, there is more pride in the earned money.
cuz if any of the rothschilds, rockerfellers, even the walmart family... showed up, you guys wouldn't be pulling the "its your daddys wealth" card.
it doesnt matter if its their dads...
its theirs... and the fact is, their allowance is more than your life savings.
thats the end game. they just simply have more than you...
you would gladly be in their shoes LOL.
there's too much ego and self righteous bullshit revolving around being self made...
the richest men in the world, most of them had help from their families.
the thing that u guys dont understand is... it takes wealth to make wealth (most probabilistic).
wealth and empires get passed down, and then the children build it up and pass it down again.
empires don't rise in one generation, it's VERY rare... like the 1% of the 1% of the 1% are completely self made, from the streets to billionaire.
the rest of the 99% of the 1% are all given shit, so they're at least 1-2 lifetimes ahead of the rest of the poor people in the world.
you can hate on them all you want... but in the end, they still got more than you.
lol, i'd rather be in their shoes than in your guys's shoes ANY day.
how i spend that money would be diff, but ... yeah..
Ur point is taken, but I think u r ignoring some major differences in old money and this new China money.
Look at Donald trump, in a simplistic view, his dad was wealthy, but trump took his father's teachings and his ability to leverage his contacts, funds, and name and made significantly more, building a true empire. Now, trumps kids all work in his business, yes rich as fuck, but they work
Not saying trump and his kids aren't dicks, but they def. we're working hard before they get on TV.
These second gen China money ppl, they won't add value to their parents' wealth, they just spend it. They're leeches, no better than some white trash leech on the public welfare system. Just a different kind of leech

The fact that they were able to provide you with shelter, food, clothes and education is already the same. These rich Chinese are doing the exact same thing, except at 1000x the price difference.
Look at this board, you see these kids with bmws, even Hondas and parents paying for university or letting their children stay at home until whenever. This is no different. I would say those whose parents make $100,000 a year buying their children $50,000 cars and paying $50,000+ for university are spoiling their children more compared to some chinaman making $2,000,000 a year and buying a $400,000 car.
Unless you (not you specifically 4444) were born into a foster home, everyone is/was spoiled to some extent. It's like seeing posters post about kids driving in Mercedes being powered by parents while they are living their parents house rent free and having tuition paid for thinking that their Honda civic was all their own hard work.

Every parent will try to make their child's life better than they had when they were that age. It's just natural, sure it shows on the surface as spoiling.
I know a lot of asian kids that are spoiled just as much as white kids. I don't think race has anything to do with it. Kids are gonna get spoiled so that the parents feel like they've done a good job.
But seriously, fuck this shit. These girls, no matter their race just come off as stuck up bitches.
And watched the trailer for the series, such an Asian move wanting a Fazioli piano. I'd take a Steinway any day.
I swear RS was the prime demo for this shit though. Everyone that hates it will gobble it up so they can write more shit about it.
Among all the billionaires out there, many (I'd say the majority) of them had at least a millionaire dad. Yet still, it takes incredible amount of talent and work to go from million to billion and not many are capable of doing that.
You see all the rich asian dude/chicks here in Van, they most likely have a millionaire dad. But how many will actually develop further into billionaires? probably none. And their parents probably don't expect them to be either. They just want to give the best to their children and let them do whatever they couldn't do when growing up. And that's totally ok IMHO.
It comes down to mentality really. For all the Rothchilds and even Kennedys, they were taught to continue to expand their wealth given their resources, and many of them were very successful at that. For the rich chinese in van? their parents probably just want them to enjoy life and live whatever life they want as their parents weren't able to do that growing up.
Then there is another type, from which is kinda common in Western families is that they have a millionaire dad, but the parents only give their kids enough to go and make themselves a millionaire too (go to good schools, stick with a good profession... etc). And that's just another way of thinking.

I feel ur being a extreme. All I'd say is this. By time I was in uni, my parents could have paid for my education, but what would that teach me. I paid for my education, came out debt free, paid rent to live at home, and I could do this bc I worked a lot during my uni years.
We barely had enough money to drive to the beach in the summer, so while we had a roof over our head, in modern day england, the government will give u that for free
So, no, I see no comparisons to my life and that of these vile cunts. And there is no jealousy, personally I get loads of value from my career, working hard and earning things. Given things just aren't that attractive to me. I don't even get gifts for my bday or Xmas anymore as I would rather that person spend their money on themselves. But I am def a 1 in a million
I believe parents and their upbringing greatly influences and contributes to how they are now. For example, if your parents are rich, the kid will most likely be spoiled with good luxury stuff. The parents will give them the good "shit" since they want them to live well. On the contrary, if your parents arent rich, you'll have to work extra hard to earn money to be able to buy the good stuff. What is defined as good stuff, that's relative in everyone's world.
Eventually these bitches will run out of money, just a matter of which generation. They all won't know how to work and make a dime.

i totally disagree with you. rich or poor doesn't matter, it's all down to good parent vs. lazy parent.

In the end, we will all be different.
When I grew up as a kid, my grandparents took care of me, while my parents worked. My grandparents would always buy me whatever toys I liked. Is that really good vs lazy parenting? Seems like I'm a spoiled kid? This may not be accepted under your world, but we all have cultural difference that others may not perceive as acceptable.
The best part of this show is that, ultimately, it isn't about showcasing a bunch of rich bitches from China... it's about the people who makes the show trying to make money/a name for themselves by exploiting those rich bitches and giving them their 15 seconds.
Judging by the fact this is on Page 3 already... I'd say they're doing a decent job. And good for them if they can figure out a way to exploit rich people instead of the other way around.
