What do you use your phone for? If it's just mainly texting, calling, browsing... then you don't need an expensive phone. All phones are pretty similar in terms of feature. But if you want options, then iphone is not what you want to get (no micro sd and removable battery). The Note 3 and 4, on the other hand, have different feature especially with the S pen. The phone itself, although not as much sensors as a graphic tablet, can draw pretty well. The harder you press the pen, the darker the strokes. So if you like drawing, Note is good for that. |

the camera isn't my main concern, but its an added bonus. i usually just use mine for scenery. if i go fishing on a lake at 5am and by the time the sun starts to rise the lake with have that fogginess hovering over it. when im in the mountains shooting, 4x4'ing, stuff like that. i dont use cameras for drunken instagram nights hahahha. as for the sony z3....i like...its water resistant which is good since my normal job is working in water. the pictures look awesome, practically the same size as the iphone 6. cant find a release date for it though. but so far thats the one im considering the most at the moment thanks for mentioning it :) -edit- apparently they're out since they're all over craigslist. fuck you fido for not having it on your site. |
if you need water prof phones there isn't a lot out right now. Sony Z3, Z3 compact, Samsung S5. Out of them I would pick Z3 compact is small enough to fit in my pocket, still powerful and good battery life. Also the price is cheaper than both the Z3 and S5. |
I have an S5 and for some reason I don't really trust it's water proofing. I mean I watched videos of a guy putting it though a laundry cycle but a thin strip of plastic on its rear shell looks kinda flimsy to me. Even as a owner I have to give a vote for the Z3 for camera and waterproofing. |
