JDMVIP vs Pacific Coast JDM Fight club threads? I noticed this awhile back. Summery: JDMVIP buys car and feels he is over charged. Creates thread of word Vomit. People Defending Pacific Coast JDM get banned. Pacific Coast JDM seems to do the right thing. Fight continues. Original Thread on JDMVIP Posting Last night on Import-era from Pacific Coast JDM |
skimming through this, it was settled in court that pacific coast is innocent but the fight continues? |
I love how the site owner (and accuser) has the title 'friendly and unbiased moderator', then proceeds to ban everyone with a different opinion. |
Never imported a car so total noob at this From skimming thru is seems that op complain that pacific jdm forge the auction document to a higher price (1200$) and thus scam OP. If pacific jdm had not forge the document would OP pay exactly how muh the car was auction for in japan? How does pacific JDM make money than? Or am I missing something? $1200 on top of te car price seem ok for all the work the middle man (pacific jdm) had to do to secure the car in japan? |
From what i can tell it boils down to Pacific JDM wants the Thread removed due to it hurting his reputation, however the accuser seems to be at the point now where its a pride thing, and even though there is proof that his accusations are false wont change his opinions. |
Crooks.. |
I've heard nothing but good things about Derek and PCJDM over the years from many people who have dealt with him, I'll take that over one complaint that was shut down in court. |
PCJDM charges you his fee ($1000) on top of the price of the car, thats where he makes his money. You pay only what the car was won for at auction. This is where the whole argument started. JDMVIP owner claims PCJDM lied/forged the price of the car at auction, which has since been proven false. PCJDM is clear of all charges. Sticky situation, aruments aplenty, people banned... yikes! |

From this document (lacking a lot of details) it looks like 1) the matter was settled 2) it looks like the buyer was screwed as there was a 100,000 yen tacked on as 'profit' outside of an Agency Fee with no explanation of this before or after the sale 3) but it wasn't Pacific Coasts' doing but rather kabushiki gaisha jpc https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-C.../Scan10003.JPG |
