Selling my prelude that i have owned since June of 2013. I always love the prelude and after i crashed my first one, i wanted another one that i could modify from stock! So she has been that since i bought her stock and i have done what i wanted to it. I am now ready for something bigger and so this has to go. However, im not letting it go for nothing and i have no problem keeping it until i try to sell it again later on. If it never sells? I'll either keep it until it dies or part-out the aftermarket parks and sell it as a stock car
interior :
stock sr-v leather rear seats
red honda s2000 front seats
neochrome shift knob
engine :
i did a timing belt, water pump change when i bought the car since prev owner had no information on maintenance. i also had seals around that area changed. i have pictures of the parts bought and with labour it cost me just a little under 1000$ for it to be replaced.
h22a1 stock engine 37xxxxKM (353k when i bought it)
AEM v2 short ram intake
KS Tuned Timing Tensioner (these are great when doing timing belt change)
NRG spark plug wires
aftermarket Alpine Deck with bluetooth/speaker/ipod/USB option
Exterior :
Wing West RS front lip molded to the bumper
Modified Mugen Replica Side Skirts
Modified Mugen Replica Rear Skirts
JDM one-piece front headlights
JDM foglights
Relocated front plate
Suspension :
Car is lowered on Function and Form Type 2 Coilovers
Replica BBS RS wheels (they almost look like Klutch Wheels) 16x8 + 20 offset
205/45/16 Nitto Neogens that i put on last September (so probably 80-85% thread)
Also comes with 205/65/15 or 215/60-65/15 snow tires, which have the stock rims on them, that i bought beginning of last winter BRAND NEW and put them on for the 2-3months, so they EASILY have 90% thread or more
ps : i cant remember the size of the tires which is why i have those options, i have them in the back stored away and i can look for you if you really need to know before hand.
now the bad : it's a 20 year old car so please dont expect it to be perfect!
-Paint is prob 7/10 with the hood being the worst of it. I think a good cut/polish will bring this paint back to life!
-Rust in rear quarter panels. Ill show you in person and it currently has bondo on it since i had to roll/pull my fenders
-interior stock speakers and possibly amp may be blown from playing music a little loud
- Title is clean on the car from what i have been told, but there was previous signs of accidents.
- IT SQUEAKS! yes its 20 year old car and im sure ball joints and bushings in the suspension needs to be changed, personally i didnt mind so its usually a riders preference.
- oil burns is common on these engines
- oil leaks ( i have a leak from the oil pan gasket, personally i dont wanna change it and i just check the oil every 500-700 km and put oil when needed )
- front left CV axle is leaking ( this one is a new axle i put that started leaking so they sent me a replacement which i will include )
Recent Maintenance :
i have owned the car since june 2013, so everything that i have put in just over a year old with a few things being about 6 months old since they were put in just this year.
thats all i can think off for now..and if i show you the car in person i will tell you everything again and if i missed explaining anything now i will tell you then as i have nothing to hide. The car isnt perfect so please dont expect perfect. The only perfect thing i can think of right now is the engine! why do i say that ? Yes it has A LOT of km's but ever since the timing belt being changed it idles really nice! When i take the car in to my shops, i have been told for an engine so "old" it runs really great!
