Tire pressure is supposed to be measured cold. So when I installed my winters this season, I topped up to the PSI on the door jamb of 33 psi. Now that it's been pretty cold in the mornings, morning readings are closer to 31 psi. Would you top up again to account for the current temp?
When I was a poor student, I pumped gas at the West Van shell station. You can imagine the kind of people that came in there.
One douche bag came in maybe twice a week in his STi (this is in 99/2000) and had us check the tire pressure every god damn time. One time I got fed up and told him they were fine, 32 in three tires and 31 in the fourth. He then told me about how in Formula 1 a single psi could make the difference between winning and losing.
I told him he wasn't driving a formula 1 car. lol.. I think I quit a week later.
Personally, I'd put 2 more PSI in because I am just the same douche bag as that guy. I just know it, and I wouldn't make some poor kid making minimum wage do it.
edit: fucking hell, it couldn't have even been an STi at that time. It must have been only a 2.5RS.. hahaha.

Argh got an email from Quattro saying they are having "availability issues"
Motherfucker that's why you have an inventory system on your goddamn website isn't it?

My brother in-law who works service at a dealer says there's tons of stock on the cc2 this year, and pricing is actually better than a lot of poorer performing 3PMSF tires.
Maybe the size you're looking for is hard to find.

A lot of these places don't actually hold their own inventory and it all comes from a central warehouse. When I was buying my Xice3 a few places listed one set and I assume that it was the same set that I was seeing across the board.

I get that, but you'd think integrating inventory systems is possible. When some say out of stock, and some say in stock, it means they have the capability of knowing.

^Costco cut back on promotions the last few fall/spring rebates. I'm waiting to get a set of CC2s in spring to replace my winter/summer sets - will probably get them from Blackcircles with one of their promotions.
How did everyone do with their all weather's this Thursday on the ice rink?
I was out with the crossclimate2's. A little slippage here and there, but my 1 wheel drive car stayed in the direction I wanted it to go the whole trip.
I went out with the Camry just to test how the cc2s were doing now they are 2+ years old and I had zero issues. An occasional abs jutter on ice but that’s to be expected. Take offs, hills and general braking were all fine. I went to go climb some back roads and alleys in east van / Burnaby capital hill area to test and didn’t get stuck. Traction came on for some of the steeper hills but nothing it couldn’t handle.
