| Burnaby Autobody shops
Hey Guys,
I recently scratched my right rear side door. I got a quote for $300 and another quote for $1294. I'm a new car owner and very noob in terms of what the average cost should be for damage like this. There is a very minor and shallow dent about the size of a quarter. Does anyone know any reasonably priced places in Burnaby? Planning on stopping by a few places to get some quotes. Thank you! |

$300 sounds very fair from an icbc accredited shop.
The repair and repaint looks straight forward from the pic.

For the best color match then they will need to blend the quarter panel. As for the r&i it is necessary to assist the paint for it not to peel in the future

VIP auto body. The owner of the shop is a member on here, TS14. Contact him for pricing. They did great work with the scratches on my truck!

^ this. costs more than that to paint a bumper, much less repair and paint a door. like others mentioned, IF it were an icbc claim, you'd definitely blend the quarter. private though i usually won't put it down but i inform the customer that it may not be 100% depending on the color. looks like normal solid black though, easy color to match. good price is about 600, anything less i'd be a little skeptical. you get what you pay for
