Thanks. I know about the fitment, got lucky!

for comparison in size, on the left are the $88 gorilla racks Costco sells. You cant tell but the depth is also 25% more. I have 8 of these racks, what a waste.

I recently picked 1 of these up for a check engine light I had. Really cheap code reader that can show live data from sensors and display it in a graph as well.

There ect temp, iat temp, timing degrees, rpm, and lots of other stuff that I'm not sure yet, I have to read the manual. I had a p0113 code for IAT sensor and I was also able to see what value it was reading.

Not the cheapest, but pretty good deal imo.

Lincoln 210 multiprocess welder, and Lincoln square wave 200 ac/dc tig/stick machine if bought together is eligible for a $800 rebate. Roughly $2650 after rebate before taxes. Good deal if someone is in the market, I just ordered them through kms.

If someone is interested in my Hobart 210 handler, shoot me a PM.

I've been waiting a while for the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 4-1/2 inch angle grinder to go on sale. KMS and Summit has them on sale this month - regular $235.00 for $199.00. I was totally prepared to pay that price, but while I was at Home Depot looking for something totally unrelated, I spy with my little eye, a Milwaukee Fuel angle grinder. I was like, WTH? Never seen it there before. It's supposed to be an on-line only item. I go to the car, where I just happened to have, a Summit Tool's flyer. I got the price match and a further 10% off.

And yes, I already have like 7 Milwaukee batteries and three chargers, so it's a no brainer. Not a fan of paddle switch on the grinder, but I found it to be okay. The tool fits my hand and the switch feels really good.

One thing I noticed......... Summit Tools "tool only" stuff is usually stretch wrapped with no box or papers. Like it was parted out from sets. Never seen that at KMS or Home Depot. It was one of the reasons why I was going to get the grinder at KMS until I saw it at HD.

EDIT: the grinder fits like a glove in this.........

Spoiler!

Spending my grandchildren's inheritance money, one garage item at a time.

Lol, you know I haven't installed mine yet.

I would've got this one but since noise is a factor, I had to opt for the belt drive. The backup battery is a nice option but I read that when they fail, the unit constantly beeps until you change it and it's not a necessity anyways.

Lol, sold out?!?!?

I installed one last year. I also think it's awesome! The newer Security Plus doesn't work with our homelink though.

I don't know what you paid for it, but I looked at that and ended up with the Milwaukee M18 kit (2697-22CT) from Home Depot instead for $199. Hammer Drill/Impact Driver/2 batteries combo, and they have fuel gauges on their batteries!

I picked up two sets of Wera screw drivers on sale at KMS. I also sorted through their loose impact sockets in bins in the back and pulled out several snap ons. There are probably enough USA made proto, sk, kd, blackhawk, etc. to put together a decent set for cheap.

Yeah......... I always said to myself, one day I'll spend all afternoon in there to make up a set, but as soon as I start looking, 5 minutes into it, I just give up.

I am forever looking for a cheap 1/2 inch drive, 20mm deep socket. 6 point, 12 point, doesn't matter. I have regular one, but no deep socket. All the sockets in the set are old school Craftsman and are in really good shape. I know Gearwrench or Proto makes one and I can get open stock, but it'll look out of place, lol. Plus, they're expensive.

I have a Hansen socket tray, the ones with the numbers on the top of the pins. I have all the sizes except that one size and it kills me everytime I look at it. Like missing teeth on a supermodel.

I quit my job at the dealer couple years ago and now my tools and box sits in my garage with minimal use.

My new job supplies all the tools for everyone. Many of the wrenches and sockets are Proto. I had never had any proto tools before and googled them. Apparently, Proto undergoes a certain manufacturing process to meet certain certifications set by at least NASA and Boeing. They're also used in US military and some other corporate industries. Maybe like Ford, GM?

Alot of the screwdrivers supplied for us are Klein. From what i understand, Klein's are like the, Snap on for electricians.
In the past, i swore i would only use Snap on philips screwdrivers and tips cause all other brands i found never fit well, including Mac. I'm finding these Klein's are fitting at least as well as the snap on's

Never used Wera before, but just the fact being German made, i'd be inclined to trust the quality

Speaking of quality, I always thought Jet tools were of decent quality. Their hex socket drivers break so easily. Never had so many issues with the set. They have a lifetime warranty, but what a pain. They are worse than any other set I've used. Their wrenches and ratchets seem to be okay. Mastercraft ratchets, on the other hand, are pieces of rat turd.

Not really a great deal, but it's a deal nonetheless on something most of us need at one time or another. Plus, I might get my set with the Apple pentalobe bits back from lilaznviper, gulolol..................
