Wheel repair, bent.

Any recommendations on a wheel repair shop that mainly specializes in bent rims? Do cast and forge repair differ?

No experience myself. But everytime a wheel repair is mentioned, Green's is too.

But it seems that green's is mentioned along side with panther too... :heckno:

Greens, Panthers, or Nubrite all can do a great job with this sort of thing.

My shop uses Panther exclusively.
I've never had an issue.

Whats your budget? Is this a stock wheel?
I can get it done for about $200. Of course the shop needs to see it first though.

we use nubrite at my shop. always comes back looking brand new

GabAlmighty 11-25-2014 09:30 PM

Good thread, not many of these around. I recommend Panther.

I had a great experience with wheel tech repair in surrey Alloy Wheels Repair Bent Rim Vancouver Richmond Burnaby Coquitlam and Surrounding Areas
Ask for Charlie Brown

Curbed the wheel on the first day I put them on lol :failed:
I was very pleased with the work and they were able to paint match the wheels which was crucial

Plus, I Paid less than 30% of the price quote from panthers
(He will beat the price of the competition:fullofwin:)

Forgot to mention he keeps you up to date with the progress by sending pictures if that's not a good customer service I don't know what is!

They're discontinued wheels. I'm looking for a shop that can straighten wheels well not finish and paint them. Going to go around nubrite, wheel fix it and the close ones in Surrey first.

I have a 150-175 budget.

jackp0t 11-26-2014 12:09 AM

Pretty much all wheel repair shops can do what you require

melloman 11-26-2014 08:14 AM

Took 1 of my wheels to Wheel-Fix-It. Came out straight and was cheap ala cash.

The dealerships I've worked at and currently work at uses Green's, no complaints and wheels came back the way they were before they were damaged. One of said dealerships is also a high end one.

Just chiming in on what everyone said above, Nubrite, Green's or Panther. I'd say out of the 3, Nubrite is probably on the more expensive side, at least when I got a quote for my SSR's.
