One was last year and it got stuffed into a wall.
These guys need to keep the fucking asc on for a little longer or pick up a 240 or miata until they understand how to handle a car.
500+BHP should require a special licensing test.

Yup.. My guess is the guy panic-braked when the rear end stepped out, thus further decreasing the rear end grip. He should have applied some throttle to get the weight at the rear again, along with some counter steer.
If he had taken a track course he would have known that.
Ha, you're giving Lambo owners way too much credit here. Lambo's buyer demographic aren't your hardcore driving purist/enthusiast. Often it's just men who have too much money and very little driving skill/sense who want to show off and portray the exotic supercar image. If I recall, there was an Aventador that crashed downtown this past summer.
I hope driver's insurance doubles or triples in light of recent events.
Just glad nobody was hurt!!!!!
according CTV, driver is claiming engine failure caused accident....
he's pulling that card only because the car caught fire after it crashed. it's natural for an italian car to catch fire after a crash though, been like that since 50's.
Anyone know if he/she paid the damages out of his/her own pocket?
I doubt ICBC will cover for track days.
He paid for it out of his own pocket. Did not buy track insurance.

just wondering anyone know if he is a mainlander with daddy's dirty money or if he's one of those d bag that work in the oil sands... not that all people work in oil sands are d bag but some of them are...
Mainlanders with money don't move to Alberta.
I'd be shocked if I found out it was an Asian kid. Alberta plates, white rock house, all evidence leads to a white guy. Or wscte. Either will work.
Lamb driver has no skillz. He tried to swerve to cut off the left lane hog, the car began to oversteer and he overcompensated. Left lane hogs cause so many accidents from frustrating other road users.

Lauda would agree.

Um. If you are driving 70k over the speed limits with your buddy in 600+hp cars, eat shit and crash, I'm not sure what other outcome you'd expect. Were they racing? I don't know. Were they full retard enough to be perceived racing by 90% of the world including law enforcement? Yeah, probably.

Don't get how the Viper got the same charges as the lambo driver. Sure hit him with excessive speeding but to be charged criminally, bad bounce for him.
Side note: GTFO of the left lane if you are not passing

Yeah, that's how I see it too. Excessive speeding, absolutely... no disputing it. Street racing? Nope.
Did racing with the Viper lead to the accident? I don't think so. Shitty driving at whatever speed he was doing led to the accident. I don't think the presence of the Viper had any bearing on the outcome.
