Less than 60 days away!!! |
Ooh, British GP at Donington this year, that's exciting. It's a nice track... |
I don't watch much MotoGP anymore but the 2014 San Marino GP was on tv the other day and my god the first half of that race was an awesome battle between rossi, lorenzo and marquez. I might have to start watching again this year. And Im itching for another bike. |
Anyone have a favourite track that they're looking forward to watching? Assen and Sachsenring are my favourites to watch |
All I know is Marquez lapped Sepang in under 1:59 which has never been done appearantly. motogp.com · Marquez: "Riding in the 1'58s at Sepang was a special moment" Can you guess who I am rooting for? |
Anyone know who will be airing this on TV? Ever since it got dropped from SPEED I haven't been able to enjoy it properly. It's a pain to find it online, and I won't pay to see it. |
i wanna see stoner come back as a wild card for australia |

40 DAYS TILL THE MOTOGP SEASON STARTS -March 28th, 2015 (exactly two weeks after the F1 season begins!) |
Just over two weeks left! So the track in Wales won't be ready and Donington didn't want to engage to support by hosting in 2015.... now, Silverstone has been confirmed for 2015 and 2016.... |
Alright guys - 48 hours!!! Time for the new season! Qatar should be a good race. I'm excited. |
Qatar MotoGP: Marquez back on top on day one | MCN Looks like Marquez is going to slot first heading into the first race of the season. The double world champion finished 0.076 seconds ahead of teammate dan Pedrosa.... can't wait! http://media.crash.net/original/PA1652982.0008.jpg |
ROSSI WINS!! |
BBC Sport - MotoGP: Valentino Rossi wins season opener in Qatar Rossi : one of the best races of my career.... |
|
ROSSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
So how are you guys watching Moto Gp? It doesn't come on the speed network anymore |
gf and I were on the edge of our seats watching live. so excited to see ducati tearing shit up this year. Quote:

unbelievable power on the ducatis, soft tyres killed them on the long run tho also great effort from marquez getting back..great race nonetheless |
What a race!!! It's funny - I am a huge F1 fan as well but MotoGP helps illustrate EVERYTHING that is wrong with Formula 1... there is actual competition amongst the top 5-6 teams.. there is MUCH greater parity, which means better competition, which means more exciting racing... so much overtaking... so much action... At first I thought the Qatar race just seemed great because the first two F1 races were horrendous but watching it again I realized it was actually a tremendous race. Kudus to MM for storming back up the field after that tough first corner. Congrats to 36 year old Rossi!!! |

ducati's speed this year is mainly attributed to their ability to make the bike steer better and hold higher cornering speeds. previous iterations of the desmosedici would understeer and were physically demanding on both the rider and the tires because you'd have to basically thrash the bike into the corners to make it turn. aside from when casey stoner is at the helm, the ducati would get demolished in qualifying at tracks like phillip island, sometimes by up to 2 seconds, because it can't hold its line while going through long corners. i cant wait to see how the rest of this season will turn out. im hoping crutchlow will find his groove and start fighting at the top again, his lap times have been very promising to say the least. |
I don't go out of my way to watch motoGP but I happened to be flicking channels after finishing F1 and caught the last 5 laps of Qatar. That was a master class from VR....the quality of racing in general with those two trading spots had me on edge. Rossi planning ahead of time in order to create enough space for the straight against the more powerful Ducati...the man is such a tactician. |
