up to this point, you seemed like a pretty normal dude.. then you post that. about people not recognizing your expensive ass wheels.
if there's anyone you should be trying to impress, it should be enthusiasts, not the regular person. you know, the same enthusiasts who will recognize that you have old wheels, likely from 05/06 and that iForged also had the same design for cheaper.

I'm not trying to impress anyone, I merely meant its hilarious how people perceive that vossens are so high end vs some real baller ass wheels nobody knows. That's the impressive marketing that Vossen does working for them.
You think someone who cared what people thought would be openly telling people he bought his wheels used like I said I did in my post? Chances are that person would be flexing like they bought them for list price.

R32 GTR wheels best wheels. Timeless design, forged magnesium, 7kg per rim, and JDM Engrish on the centre cap yo a set in decent condition can be had for relatively cheap nowadays, but mine are in pristine condition with centre caps still intact!

@meme405, you know why no one notices your wheels? Because TO ME (and prob many others), they just look like a well maintained set of TSW wheels from surrey. Chrome/high-polished lips with black face is so old school.
There was this cocaine white g35 coupe here with wheels as expensive as yours but the difference was that his actually looked unique and "trendy".

I didn't like the look of the black flares after dipping the car, so I peeled it off. A little contrast works well for this car, otherwise it looks like a black blob and the wheels would draw too much attention

You mean G-Spec's car? His is off the hook, his DPE's were intense, and I think he now has meisters? Either way great car.
Also the reason I got my wheels was because they were a throw back to another OG FX owner who had the exact same set. So yeah they are oldschool, so no offense taken to anything you've said. I'm not gonna get butthurt over others comments on my car, I've heard it all man.
Also I never shat on the owner's car, I even commented that it looks fantastic, and I have personally spoken to him at the RS meet and told him how awesome it looked (at that time it was on the old wheels). Although he won't know who I was.

Also lol @ my wheels being well maintained, they definitely aren't. The black is kinda swirled, and there is a few chips in the finish. Also one of the lips was lightly rashed by a tire machine.

ive never cared about real vs fake because i care more about how the car looks to me than how expensive it looks to others. my whsiters for example i preffer over the reall ccw's because i think the single piece wheel looks alot cleaner than a 2/3 piece wheel
i understand that some people hate "ricer" shit, and honestly i along with others have opinions. people can have opinions on my cars all they want and i will have mine of course.. but if its just coming down to a brand? thats a little overkill
