Trip to Whistler Sunday:
South Bound on the Sea-to-Sky view outlook exit, 2 minutes after the "Welcome to Squamish" sign.
First test on 1.5+ hour highway drive and highway driving comparison between the S3 and the RS5:
Spoiler!
The S3's acceleration was quick when overtaking other cars, almost as quick as the RS5.
However, for the curve sections, there was a significant amount, but manageable, body roll, more than the RS5.
In fact, the RS5 had very little, if any (couldn't feel it), during the curve sections (based on 4+ trips on the Sea-to-Sky).
The S3 had solid grip on the road on the straight and curvy sections of the Sea-to-Sky.
The RS5, with its wider body, lower suspension, and MUCH wider tires (275mm for the RS5), is much more superior in gripping the road.
I never ever felt any loss of control in the RS5.
With S3, the "higher" speeds required a lot MORE attention and concentration (and slight tinkering with the steering).
The entire journey was fun, as always, for any drive on the Sea-to-Sky.
However, the RS5 wins hands down on highways.

It's the angle and some brake dust (the front ones get a lot more than the rear wheels).

Toss a set of H&R's on the S3? I bet a nice progressive spring, with a 1.5" drop would cure a large amount of the roll issues.
I know my FX it certainly did when I had my H&R's vs the factory setup.

Hi, I use to live in White Rock but relocated to cloverdale. I do drive through W.R. everytime I go for a drive. Big plans for the 2 this winter.
