When the Seahawks started winning 2 seasons ago and one becomes a fan at that point does that make one part of the bandwagon? I know I'm a bitter Niner fan.

and really a true fan will watch 100% of the games and will change all plans so he can if something else came up...

I think that's more along the lines of a Fan-a-tic. I love the hawks, and barring other responsibilities like work, and family affairs, I would love nothing more than to watch their games.

Unfortunately I am all to aware, that even if the hawks win the superbowl 10 years in a row, it will do absolutely nothing to my life; I won't be any richer, it won't put food on my table, or keep a roof over my head, it won't keep my family safe at night, etc. So I can't just abandon the rest of my life for football. Same goes for all other forms of professional sports, if the Canucks win the stanley cup, is that going to put gas into my car so I can make it to work on monday? Nah it ain't.

Just being a realist, people need to not get so caught up in pro sports, it is after all still just a fucking game.
