something you guys didn't know about Badhobz For as long as I've known him, he doesn't drink coffee. ever. lol So what you're telling him is like poor people asking him for money :lol |

They both tell time; one is 10,000X the price, will cost thousands more to maintain, keeps slightly less accurate time, but is a Rolex. Of course that's the one to recommend! LUL |
There's nothing wrong with the recommendation. It's a good machine. It just didn't make coffee the way he expected. |
I'm saying MY recommendation of a drip brewer is bad for someone like him (actually for most people I'd recommend a Clever). |
Thanks Dukes ! All I want is basically to serve my guests some decent coffee when they come over. It’s embarrassing because right now all I have are petite bags of trung Nguyen or nestle instant coffee. God forbid her cunty friends come over and they drink my booze (I don’t drink anymore) and then ask for some coffee |

You some east van bumpkin? You express yourself........... espresso is how it is spelled. Although, it's been spelt that way so often, it's now accepted. Like ain't.......... in the dictionary, it is. Just messin' with you, Kirkland. Apparently, you hang out with dukes, so you're okay - in my books. East Van Rules! |
I didn’t know. Thanks gramps ! Kinda embarrassing cuz I grew up with all these Aye-Talians and didn’t even drink any of their coffee. Although I do know their coffee was made in a tin can that they boil. |
Italian girls/women.......... cripes................. The first day at Britannia from years of going to Strathcona, I thought I had died and ended up in heaven......... so many well endowed chicks. Maybe it's all in the coffee. |
going back to basics got these two for xmas bday present for myself. https://alternativebrewing.com.au/cd...g?v=1689138976 https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/16...g?v=1543607764 |

if you're brewing for a group of people why not just buy a normal coffee maker instead of a superauto espresso machine that can make reg coffee? the only upside to that i can think of is that it has a built in grinder. if you bought something like a technivorm moccamaster and a half decent grinder you would get what you actually want, but you would have to put in a bit of effort like weighing or at least scooping the beans, grinding them, then putting them into the machine with a filter. |
i just had some cappuccino this morning and it was delicious. Thanks for the bean recommendation Dukes, that lavazza crema is quite tasty. ill keep this machine around for a bit and see what my use case is gonna be. Just adding water to espresso seems to make decent coffee. |
Got an e-mail from Nespresso today. Because you are such a good customer, we are giving you a surprise gift with any purchase. I went to the Metrotown Boutique. Looked around and couldn't bring my self to buy more coffee pods. I have enough to last half a lifetime. SO, remembering this RS thread, I decided to buy one of those gay glass cups. They're Made in France and come with two cups, saucers, and nice spoons. I'm having a cup of whatever came for free with the machines I have at home. I feel so gay now. Crossing legs like............ I feel so euro right now. I so want to gulp it down, but these cups keep me from doing it. Sip, sip, put the glass down............ sip, sip........... done. Going back to Alto. Oh, forgot....... free gift was a tote bag. Navy Blue one with gold Nespresso emblem. It rolls up into a tidy bundle with a snap closure. |
Amazing bag of coffee I grabbed yesterday from Doe coffee in the hood. They used to carry Moja which is my go to but showed up and they had switched to this. I tried a latte with their house blend which is a slightly lighter roast, then she told me this bag was what they used to use and it’s a bit stronger Amazing dark chocolate/caramel/coconut creaminess with this longggg lasting taste which is similar to what you get with like a 75%+ cacao dark chocolate. Highly recommend https://i.imgur.com/jT1UCRg.jpeg |
Couldn't spell Colombia right tho. Damn I'm on a roll nitpicking all you guys' foodstuffs. |
Honestly, if you’re only making coffee for other people. Nespressos are great. Get the big style capsules. Don’t need to worry about old beans or knowing how to use the machine. Jura’s are good machines. Fully automated. Would be good if you always have company over. |

One drawback: She asked me who recommended it and I was like "this guy" while I was on RS and she's like "the one with the Trudeau picture?" and I was like "yup, you could say he's not a fan" and she was like "that picture is equal parts creepy and gross" and walked away hahaha |
:lol I’ve never been the type to like the fruity/acidic blends so if you like the similar flavours from Moja etc. that’s almost always what I gravitate towards. Hard to say but I might like these even better than Moja |
i had the most amazing coffee last week from sey... so good i went to that shop 3 times on my trip. some days when i was too busy in the morning i just used the hotels nespresso machine and pulled a 'lungo' with withever capsule they had and it was surprisingly passable. it still tastes exactly the way i remember nespresso tasting, somehow it has a distinct flavour, but who can complain when it takes 10 seconds to get a cup of espresso with zero cleanup. i can see why that market exists. i wouldnt buy one again but i'd rather drink a nespresso capsule than a keurig any day of the week. |
