All I'm gonna say is you get what you pay for when you bought a DeLonghi heh.
For superauto, it's Phillips/Miele/Jura in price order for my recommendations.

I've been paying attention to your needs and honestly it sounds like you need a Nespresso machine. I do coffee 4 ways but when guests come over I run the nespresso and it can easily pump out 5 coffees in 10 minutes and everyone is happy.

If he can take apart a Lexus dashboard, he can get a semi-automatic espresso machine and rice it out as pictured above.

When guests come over, they ask me to make them coffee. I say no, and tell them to go up the block to McDonald's. Guest at my place can fuck right off.

If you're looking for a new machine, you can reach out to the guys at Espressotec on Clark.
Very knowledgeable folks.

After 15 years, finally decided to put the old cuisinart drip machine out to pasture. The design was really crap which allowed coffee grinds to gett into the reservior tank, and it was nearly impossible to clean out properly.
So got one of these:
Coffee snobs are probably snickering, but for someone who likes black drip coffee, this is fancy for me! haha

BTW I've never bought an OXO product that was even moderately bad. Whenever I need something for the kitchen, the first thing I do is check to see if they make one.

That's actually a really nicely rated and designed coffee maker. A+ and great buy, Great68!
Please do post a review. I am very curious about this one myself. I like the carafe and the overall size.

If I didn't have a Moccamaster I'd consider that one, OXO products has gone well for me. Quote:

Ditto on Nespresso.
My only issue (and this is a personal one) is I find the coffee gives me the jitters. I can't handle it.

Please do post a review. I am very curious about this one myself. I like the carafe and the overall size. | I don't know what to say other than it works great, easy to clean, brews pretty quick, a big upgrade from the old one I had. Coffee certainly tastes better than the old machine once we dialed in the ratio we liked.
The only downside is that this one is only a 9 cup machine, the old one was 10 cup. With the old machine the wife and I would make a pot in the morning and get 2 full normal sized coffee mugs out of it each.
Now we get like 1-3/4 mug each, which often leaves us wanting just a bit more, so now we make a whole extra half batch to get another full cup and drink more coffee overall than we used to :P

The decaf beans from the small roasters are actually quite good and tasty.
