Reviews incredibly poor for a $2000 machine lol |
I know I saw that too. Friggin crazy. This is why I buy it from Costco. If it craps out I’m gonna return it just like the last one. |
Returning stuff at Costco is a lifestyle. - Badhobz :accepted: |

Surprised to see the majority of the comments are things just stopped working completely on such a machine |

If you've got 3k to drop.... are we really that far off from a La Marzocco Linea Micra? |
Hobz probably doesn’t want to risk buying anything Italian he can’t return? :lol |
what the fuck are those!? thats just coffee jibberish to me! Like i said, i dont know anything about coffee. I just want a machine so i can serve people coffee when they are over (the last machine was like 899 on sale at boxing day, but i found out it was an espresso machine... that didnt make fucking coffee!!!). I was really worried about these pieces of shits breaking and lo and behold that DeCrappy machine did break in less than 6 months. I dont think these other fancy machines are gonna be any better so unless they sell them in costco, i dont even wanna know. Quote:

I think the bad reviews are overblown, I had the older version of this machine and it worked great, I just didn't think it made good enough espresso. |
Making drinks ?! What is that ? Like pushing a button !? Worst part is cleaning out the drip tray and the grinds. Annoying ! |

It doesn't make espresso-based drinks though so you'll need a separate machine for that - I don't think anyone out there makes one machine that does both coffee and espresso-based drinks at consumer-grade prices. Costco Ninja Coffee Maker https://images.costco-static.com/Ima...e=680&viewId=3 |
No man! No. Man logic: I bought a few bags of these beans from 49 parallel. Didn’t get to try them before my deCrappy kicked the bucket. Thus I need an espresso machine to grind the remaining 20 dollar bags of beans by using a 2 grand machine. Duh !!! https://imgflip.com/s/meme/Black-Girl-Wat.jpg Wife’s like why don’t you just throw out the beans and buy a cheap machine that uses pre ground coffee. Or better yet just buy a separate bean grinder. Shadddup bitch !!!!! Get outta here with your woman’s logic |

We can't help him, we told him to get a $150 nespresso machine but he went and bought a $2k machine and n 6 months he's gonna have an entire starbucks location installed in his garage. |

I guess we'll just need to have the next Stock and Noob meet at his house? |
I’ll be on the toilet shit posting about XLBs and you guys not sitting down to pee. |
There's always Synesso and Slayer if you want to go American... :fuckthatshit: Both are Seattle-based IIRC. There are showrooms there that you can visit and try them out. Seriously though, for 2.5k, hobz should start looking at entry level dual-boiler machines. Profitec Pro 300 makes great coffee and can be had for around 2k. Throw in a nice home grinder at ~600, you've got a great combo. And if you are not messing around with some crazy light-roasted beans and pouring 10+ shots continuously, I don't see the benefit of Slayer or Synesso. These machines are expensive because they've got a lot of commercial-grade parts that don't come cheap. But they offer consistency more than anything. |
You’re talking to a guy who didn’t even know the difference between coffee and espresso till I bought the deCrappy machine in Dec last year. I thought they were the same thing….. I also spelled it expresso as in express my ass to the toliet after drinking too many of them. It’s kind of a cool hobby but honestly I can’t tell the difference. All I know is that it taste better than instant coffee. I still like trung ngyene in a can though |

Also, there are built-in grinders on non-espresso machines too!! |

He wants a set it and forget it machine and Slayer and Synesso are Greek to him |
