Doesn't Ford have employee pricing on right now? Is the Focus RS not eligible for the employee pricing discount?

bcuzracecarz 07-18-2016 07:17 AM

Not a chance in hell

Any guy who has his license plate with a 'y' added to his name deserves a royal slapping

g-velocity 07-20-2016 02:51 AM

So people are upset about cars selling for more than Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price but they will gladly pay less than MSRP and the lesser then better....
That's interesting...

Galactic_Phantom 07-20-2016 06:46 AM

What the fuck are you talking about? Yes, of course people want to pay less if possible why the fuck would a consumer want to pay more than necessary for things they want? :seriously:

okay i'm not sure about this anymore. i mentioned above that the discount only applies to their mainstream lineup, but i was just on a gt350 message board and someone just bought a new gt350 using his costco discount

twitchyzero 07-20-2016 07:11 AM

if a car is sold with a mark-up would most sales then get more commission?
i'm guessing you'd need quite the seniority to sell a RS anyways

tofu1413 07-20-2016 09:35 AM

Depends on the dealer. Sometimes sales guy does get more commission or they just treat it as a full msrp sticker deal.

Most of the time they do get more commission!

I am so fucking sorry.
Did i hurt your feeling because you are a selfish fuck?
Lets put it this way.
If you ususally get pay $20/hr and suddently you have a talent that other employers are willing to pay $25/hr.
Will you still work for $20/hr or you will ask for a raise or find some one else will will pay $25/hr.
You should go bitch at SR because they are selling their 918's 80% more than MSRP.

That analogy makes absolutely no sense in the context of selling goods such as cars.

jasonturbo 07-20-2016 06:35 PM

I bought a new Ford today, it's awd and turbocharged :)

I take delivery on Monday.

Galactic_Phantom 07-20-2016 08:10 PM

I'm selfish as fuck because I look out for myself and my wallet/bank account, yet you're okay with salesman selling cars beyond MSRP and have a problem with everyone else being justifiably unhappy? Are you the salesman that's listing the car for $10k more or something :suspicious:? But exactly what part the simple concept of consumers not wanting to pay beyond necessary for a product/service don't you understand?

My feelings are hurt? Clearly not as hurting as the sands inside your vagina.

Manic! 07-21-2016 10:49 AM

Got a email from Costco for Ford employee pricing. Price with the option blue paint that cost $995 came to $50.664.

Saw one of these in Victoria the other day, not bad.

Then I saw a new GT350 and forgot all about the RS.
