All sold over MSRP?
Either a lot of bad he said she said going on or people just going to the wrong dealer. Each one we were allocated didn't go for a penny over MSRP.
Might be why we already have a deposit for a 2017...

I am honestly baffled where all the hype is, I get its a performance benchmark for the hot hatch and all the "history", but *&#$, it's still a focus interior with a fancy seat and plastic erywhere. I feel like it'll be a big rush of orders then once they're actually delivered and people get to physically sit in them, the buzz will drop off... Also I love Ken block and all, but the hype around the drift button is waaaay too much, it'll end with a bunch of people in polls in crystal mall parking lot. Now if only Subaru would pull their head out of their ass and throw the JDM motor in and bump the power...

Wayyyyy nicer than the mazdaspeed 3 and sti interior (of the previous generation, not been in the new sti yet)

Hopefully they don't end up like the i8's, everything super hyped and then 3 months later tons of them with low k in on trades.

Yes, the drift button could be considered to be a gimmick, but it is what sells in its intended market.

US pricing is supposed to be 50-55K MSRP, I can't see Ford asking for much over 70K CAD.
Then again they priced the Focus RS too high IMO.. so maybe I just don't get it.
I also worry about the reliability of the fancy new drivetrain... and could live without the paddle shifters.

Originally Ford said the RS was only going to be a 2 year model run but last week they announced they will bump it up to three. My guess is they will end up doing a 4 year run with these. The Ford GT is the one getting 250 per year with a two year run.
I did hear that dealers were doing an auction on these. But not to name names but there are also other dealers out there who make fake window stickers and replace them with the Ford window sticker with a $5k,$10K+ extra mark up. There is one particular auto group owner who is known for this. We dealer traded in a truck with a MSRP of $58k and a dealer forgot to take off their window sticker which listed the truck at $71K...gross Quote:
