Van -> SF by road

How is the weather at Siskyou and Grants Pass at this time of the year? Any tips from those who have done this trek before?

Thanks ICE_BOY, my googlefu is not up to yours yet (that or I am too lazy lol)

Thinking of taking the US-101 instead as it seems more fun. Anyone have any experience with the 101? Is it worth the extra 2-3hrs?

You're just being lazy :troll:

I say if the forecast is decent on your way down, go for it. If it's not, try to go on your way back home.

If you're driving back as well, I recommend doing the I5 straight down and then taking 101 up. The I5 is an awful drive that made me want to shoot myself. 101 is super fun

i recommend hitting up a dispensary as soon as you cross the border, getting faded as fuck, and playing every single kid cudi album
