Freeport Bahamas My company is taking me there... has anyone been there? i've looked online there doesn't seem a whole lot to do.. if anyone has been can they give me a must do/stay away from? Thanks! |
If you haven't tried the infamous Tortuga Rum Cakes buy some to try or get them for souvenirs. If you are looking for diamonds (yellow, pink, green) for proposal then check out the jewelry stores. I don't think there is a Hard Rock Cafe at Freeport anymore? If you are also stopping by Nassau, Bahamas then there is a Hard Rock Cafe. |
It's a very quiet island. Laidback kinda lifestyle. |
gorgeous island, as said fairly quiet safe, friendly if u like snorkeling bring gear and check out dead mans reef Gold Rock beach is gorgeous eat the conch fritters and or conch chowder but yah not much else to do rent a scooter and ride around was just there over xmas/new years with my gf at an all inclusive i highly recommend checking in online if you're flying in with sunwing, its a total mfker when departing its not really cheap, everything is in usd |
Was there in January at a resort called Memories all inclusive. went to casino jogged the beach ate lots of AYCE drank all included ( booze sucks they give u the cheap local stuff) went horseback riding. was fun but the owner is a crazy cat lady so try to hang out with the guy tourguide overall I didn't like it. Weather was a little rainy not as hot as I liked it. |
The tortuga rum cakes are very yummy. I noticed you can buy them anywhere now. |
