How so?

Porsche Boxster, or Cayman are nothing special or there's way too many of them. Which lacks exclusivity. I am not saying Porsche is a bad car, but just saying there's way too many of them. It's not THAT eye catching on the road, just like BMW M3 or something. Although some of them are modded nicely.

For that kinda price, I'd rather have a Lotus Elise, Evora, Exige or maybe Alfa Romeo for much less money. If I don't care about exclusivity, I'd rather get a Nismo 370Z for bang for buck. It still comes with nice seats, brakes, tuned 350hp engine and suspension, etc.

Alfa Romeo 4C
Starting at* $ 61,995

Nismo 370Z
Starting at * $47,998

Dealer called me today, still no allocations but they did received an email response from Porsche stating that PTS should be available later in the year.

Sounds like they are scheduling two production runs, one starting in March/April with July delivery and one in the fall, PTS likely only being available on the fall builds.

hold off and order pts, it will pay back when time comes to sell. plus you will have a very unique car.

I think the allocations will start to flow in after the Geneva auto show.

Hmmmm, TBH it sounds lame to me compared to the Mezger :s

The engine in the 997 GT3 sounds like sex.
