-What was it?
94 Mercedes SL 60 AMG (1 of less than 300?)

-How long did you own it?
3 years

-What did you love about it?
It was the best car I have ever driven, 400HP+ and 4 speed box geared for 300kmh made it feel like it endlessly accelerated. And the old M119 6.0 V8 running straight pipes was the most glorious noise I had ever heard.

-What did you hate about it?
The wiring harness that fell apart, and I was too poor to replace. Constantly had electrical malfunctions and convertible top sensors had been screwed around with so it never worked properly. HATED the fact that Mercedes fanboi's would tell me no such car existed, esp dumbass Merc service advisors... And the cost of replacing rare vintage AMG parts was insane, a bumper was priced out at 11K...

-Why did you sell it?
After I completely bankrupted myself fixing it, I saw the oil pressure drop under acceleration and a strange noise from the motor developed so I got rid of it. I wish I toughed it through and held onto it. From what I've heard, guy who has it now totally ruined the car.... I might punch him in the face if I ever see him...

-Did you have sex in it?
was fitted with very rare rear seats..

-Any other interesting facts?
Originally was sold in Sudan, then was shipped to Germany, then to UK, then Japan.....then came here with a huge collection of records from around the globe.

I want you back...

-How long did you own it? 3 years I think, I can barely remember 2 years ago let alone 20+
-What did you love about it? The T Tops in the Summer
-What did you hate about it? The T Tops in the Winteer
-Why did you sell it? Didn't, crashed it into the barrier on the Pattullo Bridge driving like an idiot, write off. I used to drive like such a moron, night and day now I almost never speed in my car or SUV however when I'm on the bike then I might be inclined to still have some fun here and there.

-Post some pics.

Don't have any pictures was so long ago but it looked very similar to this one.

1995 Lexus GS300

I'd say about a year, but it was owned by my parents for 10 years.

After the mods, it looked unique. I felt like a Yakuza boss driving it aha

-What did you hate about it?
Fuel consumption, fuck paying $80/tank for 350kms

-Why did you sell it?
Didn't sell it, spun out and hit a divider on a wet road like a noob

-What was it?
1994 Lexus GS300

-How long did you own it?
Early July 2014 till now, currently my DD

-What did you love about it?
At first, it was how smooth everything felt even for a 21 year old car. And ofcourse, no traction control

-What did you hate about it?
Same as RoughEntity, the fuckin fuel consumption. $55 only fills up 3/4 of the tank and that only goes for around 140miles (225km) more or less And how long and wide it is, some parking spots my ass sticks out so far even though i am all the way in the stall

-Why did you sell it?
Still own it, currently my DD and project.

-Did you have sex in it?
No

-Any other interesting facts?
Came with the Original Keyless Fob and still works!
Bought my present exhaust for $2, downside was that shipping was $200

-Post some pics.
When I first got it

What it looks like now

-What was it?
2008 Honda Fit Sport, bought new

-How long did you own it?
Still own it!

-What did you love about it?
It's room as hell, not eye catching other than it being red (Because Char says its the fastest color)

-What did you hate about it?
It was slow

-Why did you sell it?
In the process, but Im asking too much and everyone would rather have a stock fit

-Did you have sex in it?
I plead the fifth.

-Any other interesting facts?
The seating position sucks. If your legs are comfy, your arms are awkward, and vice versa

What was it?
1993 Mazda MX-6

How long did you own it?
About a year

What did you love about it?
It was my first car so didn't need to take transit anymore. It was fully loaded.

What did you hate about it?
Guzzled gas, head gasket was starting to go, speedometer wasn't working, wouldn't start randomly sometimes.

Why did you sell it?
See above and it wouldn't pass aircare.

Did you have sex in it?
Yup

Any other interesting facts?
Didn't know it had a cup holder until I was selling the car, i think someone on RS pointed it out.

Post some pics.

-What was it?
1992 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) Limited

-How long did you own it?
3 years, put about 105,000km on it.

-What did you love about it?
Good 4wd system; 2 12" JL's in back; 4.0L "HO"; front & rear live axles; leather

-What did you hate about it?
Front & rear live axles; everything broke - at least once; 4L exhaust manifold; AW-4 transmission.

-Why did you sell it?
Didn't. Got totaled about 2 months before I was planning to sell it.

-Did you have sex in it?

-Any other interesting facts?
Dealer (used car scumbag in Burnaby) scammed me on registration about a dec; Borla long tube header I bought to resolve constant leaks had a 1/2" mounting flange on it and looked so damn good. Shitty maaco-grade respray flaked & peeled off the roof at 140+ km/h and in car washes. Magnetic N refused to stick anywhere on rear gate

-Post some pics.

Clear tails & corners because Surrey.

The Mustang was actually my first car.

Here is day one:

My first Driveable car was a shitty '85 Audi 5000 wagon that only lasted about 5 months before the transmission shit itself. It wasn't worth taking any pictures of.

-What was it?
1992 Honda Civic SI hatchback

-How long did you own it?
2000-present.

-What did you love about it?
everything, been my dream car since i was in high school. Best mix of performance, reliability, practicallity. Its the car i grew up in, the car i turned my gf at the time into my wife. Every good memory from 17-32 years old is associated in some way shape or form with this car.

-What did you hate about it?
rust.. but i reconciled the fact that every 6 years, doing body work is factored into the cost of owner ship.

-Why did you sell it?
never will

-Did you have sex in it?
i've been with my wife longer then i've had the car......

-Any other interesting facts?
My first job out of high school, i worked at lougheed acura as a detailer. The original owner traded it in to buy a 01 CL-S. It was bone stock with 127000km, It currently has 390000km. When i bought it, it had a clean title never been stolen or broken into. In my ownership I've been able to maintain that clean title which is amazing considering how bad auto theft was in the early 2000's.

In 2001 i took out a $5000 student loan and the first thing i did was buy a GSR motor swap.. Its been though 5 different engine combinations in its life time.

i still have the same licence plate as in the pic.

-Post some pics.

2000.. you know your old when you have real photos

2014

Bracing myself for a full restoration in the next couple years, its a life long project
