as the title says. i've only been following these two boxers and even though it's been long overdue, this is still going to be very hyped up. i hope pacquiao knocks him out cold!

Floyd's a 3:1 favourite as of now, something tells me there's going to be some funny business going on to set up a potential Trilogy.

As a diehard Pacquiao fan, I have to acquiesce - I think he's past his prime and this fight should've happened many years ago. It should still be a great offense vs. defence matchup. Having been successful at a higher weight class, I still think Pacman has a great shot to win. Floyd Mayweather announces fight with Manny Pacquiao is set for May 2 - ESPN

Both greats, but everyone has to concede that Mayweather has the edge.
The funny thing is regardless of what happens moneyweather makes out like a bandit in this fight, his margin is 60% compared to Pac's. Early estimates put him at pulling in in excess of 150m from what people are calling the "Billion dollar fight" and the "richest event in sporting history".

This fight is a lot closer than it would have been five years ago, but Mayweather is still the favourite, IMO
Regardless of Mayweather's unblemished record, I still don't look at him as an ATG. One of the best defensive boxers? Definitely. If Mayweather gets by Pacquiao, I want to see him move up in weight and take on GGG for the middleweight championship - a fight that would solidify him as a definite top 5 ATG if he wins that fight.

Floyd is a heavy favorite, -220 on bodog right now.
I bought the team Canada TMT hat yesterday to wear the day of the fight lol.
Gonna be a great day for sports because the Kentucky Derby is on earlier in the day

Im not gonna be surprised if this fight ends up being boring
Mayweather will stay in a shell the whole time and counter. It's boring but that how he wins.

Mayweather gets so much hate but he's really the only one carrying boxing right now. Sure, Manny sells fights but Mayweather has such a larger impact. That being said, I'll be cheering for pacquaio at the end of the day.
I'm so excited for this fight and so is the rest of the world. Even here in Japan where combat sports has dwindled tremendously in popularity, people are talking about it. Unsurprisingly, people here are pro-pacquaio but also believe that Mayweather will probably carry out a win by points.

I have a sweater though. Havn't rocked it since I bought it at the Alvarez fight back in 2013. This might be my opportunity to pull it out, and wear it.

PBF might not have the most fan friendly fighting style, but watching him slip and counter is like a work of art.
