I liked the new additions to the guests this year. There were a few magicians, drink makers, and a charlie Chaplin guy walking around. I am SUPER disappointed Honda didnt display ANY lawn mowers this year

I went to the show last night with my wife. Unlike previous years, I'm actually in the market for a new vehicle (some sort of crossover) so it was good because we were able to site in multiple vehicles and compare the interiors very easily. I got there at around 6pm and it was pretty slow, which was good for us because we didn't have to fight with other people to sit in cars.
The show has a lot more non-OEM stuff than previous years. And there's multiple bars now.
I was a bit disappointed there was a lack of any of the recently released vehicles; No Golf R. No new Mazda Miata, etc.
Anyways, for $10, I thought it was worth going. I don't think I would pay full price though.
I enjoyed the extra bits this show had, versus the previous few. That clear piano was pretty cool!

Yeah, was pretty disappointed to not see the Golf R and the ND miata. Too bad. Mazda did have a promo video for it at one point in the night though!
On the bright side, there's a Chemical Guys stand!! Matches all US prices! Was so happy
A relatively poor showing from the major manufacturers as mentioned above (no ND etc). The rest of the show was cool though especially on the top floor with the racing sim and other small products and groups.
It was bitter sweet for me to see this FR-S:
The Turbo Team VCMC FR-S that was featured on drive:
surprised Mazda wouldnt have the miata there...I heard they will have the new cx3 there which it why I was shocked to hear no new miata. They both were revealed at the same time....
haha that sucks man! How was the interior of the cx3? was it spacious? really interested in this as my new ride...have to get rid of my rx8 and need a bigger car for the familly...
Here's my coverage of the show. Got media passes (thanks to JoshiE of Drive Marketing Group for the hookup) and was able to take pics without getting the crowds walking in front of me. Overall the show is definitely better than the last few shows but I still preferred it when it was at BC Place.

Backseat of the CX3 was a little small to me and I'm only 5'7. If you are switching over due to new members of the family..etc, you will probably be better off with the CX5.
Was hoping to see the Golf R there but no luck, did test drive the S3 the other day. Just want to get a feel of the R.
Toyota did display their fuel cell vehicle Mirai, tried to find someone to talk to about the car since I work in the industry. But seems like all Toyota reps are avoiding that display platform lol.
