Has anyone tried Oasis Car Wash?

Looking for any feedback about this place.
I've checked reviews.
This place doesn't look too bad.
Looks very convenient b/c it takes around 10 minutes.
Normally I would clean my car myself but due to busy schedule and lack of space, I can't do it anymore.
Don't need anything fancy.
Just need outside wash and interior cleaning.

I worked there. Not bad service. Fast and reasonable price. Check your car for money first because if they find it on the floor they keep it (vacuum sucks it up wink wink)

Berz out.

In my case the vacuum also sucked it out of the ash tray as well.

Fuck those guys. I tipped them well too, just to hop in and realize they helped themselves.

And as always: Wash your own car, most car wash places install swirls free of charge, or just flat out do crappy work.

I go to sensha-ya when I'm too busy to wash my car. They do quite a good job, not a lot of noticeable swirls. Plus, they won't steal any change from you. In fact, they put any coins they find on the center console for you.

Had that happen a couple of times, was a nice surprise. I had a couple of quarters, which weren't there when I walked in to pay, neatly sitting near my cup holders.

+1 for sensha ya they left stuff that they found underneath my seats in one place for me and also fully cleaned my trunk space and put personal belongings back to where they found them.

Left all the change in one place too I walked in and threw all of it in the tip jar (on top of original tip)

I appreciate the integrity, now had they taken it I would've been pissed. It's not about the small amount of money but rather the unethicalness

Why not go here instead? Was posted here about a month ago by another member. Has multiple do it yourself bays and 2 laser touchless wash bays. Open everyday until 10pm :) Prices are fair too!

when i used to wash cars, there were good guys who would leave the change in the center console and some guys who would help themselves to the vending machine.. :lol

little off topic..

one time, i just finished working on a vehicle and drove it over to the guys for a wash. he came back to me and said he found a bunch of hundreds between the drivers seat and the center console bundled together. He wanted to make sure it wasn't mine. we pulled it out and counted 600 bucks. we let the advisor know and called the lady out from the waiting area. she came into the shop in tears thanking us. apparently she lost the money and it was meant for her sisters wedding. My coworker couldve taken the money :lol there are still good people out there.

I never trusted that rail system... might damage my front lip on my lowered car... so i just wash my car on my own and if i screw up with swirl marks i get mad at myself for a sec but next time im pro. I don't think anyone besides a 200$+ detail service or myself is gonna give me same amount of focus and detail as one of these places. As for the non-car person sure I highly recommend it royal oak oasis or sensha ya.

Swirls > a giant chain that whacks the shit out of your BMW. :troll:

Anyone try BMS Autohaus in Richmond?

tiger_handheld 03-07-2015 07:33 AM

+1 for sensha-ya

only rant is if they have a line up for services, they are not as thorough as when there is no line up.

supafamous 03-07-2015 07:38 AM

Oasis is meh as they regularly missed spots on my car.

I prefer Ultra Shine on 2nd in Vancouver - those guys work on a heaps of high end cars and get the details right. Never miss a spot, friendly service. Starts at $22.

westopher 03-07-2015 08:33 AM

If I'm not going to wash my own car, ultra shine is my go to. Nice guys there, and do a good job. Not as good as they used to admittedly, but still the best I've found for the cost.
