I mean, I support women being equal to men as much as the next person, but these people sure make feminism hard to support.
As a side note, if a speaker doesn't know people are doing this bullshit instead of clapping they're going to feel pretty shitty to finish their piece and get silence and a bunch of people waving at them, a hell of a lot shittier than some one who is mildly inconvenienced by clapping.
