Wow, that was an underwhelming first episode. I'd give it a 5.5/10. The cast is terrible. The rock is probably the only one that doesn't really stick out. Cordry should've just stuck being a satirical correspondent.
4/10 maybe. Just didn't have the interesting parts that Entourage had in their premiere. The writers took scenes from Entourage(and I'm sure many other shows) and just threw them in:
Hot Girl in Bed
Fancy Car
Sex in Club
300k thrown around
sex while on cellphone
Entourage just did it better.
Sidenote: did anyone watch The Brink after Ballers? I enjoyed that premiere more.

I didn't mind it. Pretty much exactly how I thought it would be. I don't mind Dwayne Johnson. He plays the roll just fine. Didn't really care for the other cast members though.
That awkward moment when you're watching with your inlaws, and a girl is going wild riding reverse cow girl.
LOL, my mom flew in last night to visit we were watching and I was thinking the same thing.

Feels like we were supposed to know all the characters beforehand, for some reason
Glad I wasn't the only one thinking this way. This felt more like an episode halfway through a season, not a pilot. I'm sure things will get fleshed out as the show progresses, but there's just something about the show that doesn't feel right. Can't quite put my finger on what it is, but it's there.
As for Dwight Johnson, I'm okay with him as an actor. No, he's not going to win any Oscars for acting but he seems to be able to get cast into roles that more or less suit his ability (how much is there, I wont say lol).
