You have to rely on safe storage to prevent this kind of thing, you can try to subdue the asshole, but you can't be sure he isn't going to pull a knife on you. |
Oh I know, but I find the "all or nothing" approach taken by some to be a bit...excessive. |

So a few people harmlessly act like massive tools online (intangible) and it's suddenly fair game to destroy their property and cost them hundreds or thousands of dollars in repairs (tangible) when they didn't really do anything significant to anyone. I had no idea that the Internet was such "srs business". And I feel bad for the people that think that way. |
i lived on blendell & garden city for 10years, nothing really happens (i use to spot hk20000 all the time) sucks too see shits like this happen |

buddy's evo x captured the suspects of the vandals around Vancouver on his home security he lives in Burnaby. he is friends with members of status 105 but he is not "badged" with a banner/huge sticker. I don't consider himself as an a$$ either, pretty nice guy. I think hes doing some work on his car or pending parts that's why its on jackstands. |
- buddy's parents noticed the guys lurking around the car in the garage - one guy is holding a jug of something (could be engine oil or something, similar to the other vandals done to other cars) - one guy noticed the camera, the other guy wore his hood and they tried to hide the jug they were carrying - then they fled with a getaway car - the screen shots floating on social media was captured from this surveillance video that's all I know. I hope they catch these freaks. I had my car vandalized before and it was the worst feeling in the world :( |
Too bad your friend doesn't have a better quality camera. You can clearly see that 4runner driving away who is related to these guys.. But can't really tell color (white or light grey?) and you can't see any plate.. |
I know where that video is - only because I see buddy working on said evo all the time. That's very, very far from Richmond...so look for someone that may know where all of your group of friends live. If it's targeted, you have to know where your targets are. |

But there are people out there who will not feel the same way as us about this. Hence why people key cars, and slash tires. I was just pointing out that when you act in such a rude manner as some of the guys from Status105 have on multiple occasions, you heavily increase the chances of making enemies with someone who might decide to do something stupid like smash up your car. |
so you're telling me there's a good chance this status105 is a stereotypical crew of speeding douchebags in loud modded cars? so much joy right now. |
There's loud, like a nice rumble from a V8, there's loud like a well built STi, and then there's shitty loud like the douche in the auto Lancer with straight pipes I came across yesterday. Loud, not for performance, but to simply be noticed for pissing people off. These twats are no different than the accountant Harley Davidson riders who rip with open glasspacks, yet wear ear plugs like a child at a monster truck rally. Seriously, fuck all those guys. |
Richmond is not safe anymore. Its the same vandals that target Audis in Richmond. They would come and smash all the windows break the taillights, but not steal anything. i dont know what their motives are, but i dont park anywhere in richmond. its been going on for the past year. audi are not safe in richmond |

Sounds like I moved outta Richmond in the nick of time! |
https://scontent-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...a3&oe=5598BFD6 not in richmond but I have suffered from a break in as well last night. luckily no smashed glass or any other vandalism. what the hell is going on these past few weeks. The guy stole my dash crab, usb charger and cable, a set of ear buds, work out gloves, my clip on driving mirror and a tie my friend bought me. like dude, you're going to break in my car to steal less than $100 worth of stuff. wtf. /Rant. only damage on the car is that handle piece... i guess im lucky? |
sounds like bait cars are slowing down.. and car thieves are rejoicing? |
Seems to be quite a few incidents lately. Just wanted to share incase someone else was interested in picking up a motion detector. I park in a "secured" parking lot in my condo. Despite having a gate, there are numerous ways for people to get into the parking lot. Over the past 2 years, I've had people attempt to break into my car and recently my bike stolen from my storage locker. I have a compustar alarm but that doesn't really help if someone is snooping around my parking spot or trying to break into my storage locker. I thought about getting a video security system but the best that can do is get footage of someone taking your stuff. I considered getting a motion detector after my bike was stolen since when that happened, I was at home, sleeping. I installed this system with a bunch of sensors around my storage locker and parking spots and the alarm will trigger if someone is walking around my parking spots. You can position and adjust the sensors such that you pretty much have to be right in front of my storage locker door or car door in order to trigger the sensor. I live on the top (3rd) floor and was impressed that I could still receive a signal from my bedroom. The device claims to have reception up to 800m from receiver to sensor. I do get the occasional false alarm from the guy parking next to me, but you can tell which sensor was triggered and decide if it's a legit false alarm based on the time of the day. The reviews on Amazon were pretty positive and I think I paid like $75 for the basic kit and $25 for each sensor.
