This is so stupid. Marijuana is illegal in B.C. but the city of Vancouver closes the streets to have a pot party. 64 people get sick and we have to pay for it. Maybe if the cops would crack down on it people would actually try to get it legalized.

I like edibles, they give you that really nice stoned body feeling.
I just sit down, and know beforehand I won't be getting up for atleast 4-6 hours.
Bathroom 45 minutes after eating it, and having all your food and drinks arms length away.

Quite surprised at the responses in here. It seems I'm not the only one that gets FUCKED UP by weed food. Tried it a couple times and same as everyone else here. Panic attack city, tripping balls, couldn't function, etc. Just way too heavy for me. Not fun at all. It's no surprise that a whole bunch of people got messed up at a 4/20 festival. That party atmosphere clouds judgement. The shatter is more like a body stone for me. It's alright but just not the right kind of stone. Call me old school but nothing beats rolling up a nice bat and blazing. I'm not into all the other forms of ingesting.

I guess I'm the odd one out. You guys' symptoms of paranoia, unable to function etc. are my symptoms from smoking. On edibles I don't trip out as much as I do from smoking

Now that I'm used to it I can eat 2-3 edibles and I'm fine. Anymore and I become a couch potatoe. I know people who pefer edibles over smoking.

honestly most people are eating edibles in the wrong way.
I used to use weed as a way to have that cool feeling that u did with your friends. I quit for about 9 years because it became to boring. I just wasn't mentally ready. Then i started getting into more mindfulness/health/fitness and meditation, it will literally blow your mind with how your brain works on it(edibles that is). If you can sit there and meditate on it you can see your life in a completely different way and use it to improve yourself in so many aspects. Also watch/listen to educational things on it. I try to do edibles at least once a month and for a while was doing it multiple times / week.
Also make your own, take a tiny bit first one day on a empty stomach. Slowly build up how much you take so your comfortable with it and not too incapacitated.
#1 place i would recommend people doing is going out by yourself with a pencil and paper to a beach or somewhere in nature that has a beautiful view on a nice day. Work on any idea that comes to mind and try to think of how you could do it in real life. (Very good for expanding your business into ways you never imagined).

I made my own canna butter last night and now I'm scared to make cookies because I think its too strong hahaha
used 29 grams of pure bud and 4 grams of Kief and simmered it with a pound of salted butter for an hour and then strained out the leaf with cheese cloth and this is my final product. First time making it and like I said Im scared to make cookies with it right now since it seems very very strong  |

would think that would be a test, but then again all the oil etc. and THC is heat activated no? or like fat soluable etc. so there may be different effects in baking it again as opposed to eating it straight

Haven't touched it yet I have been busy cleaning my place all day so far.
The THC bound to the butter when I was simmering it so yes its heat activated right now and its ready to start cooking/baking with. 1 pound of butter ended up making 258 grams of Cannabutter or 9oz which is a bit over 1 cup
The recipe I'm gong to use is called Crippling Chip Cookies
1/2 cup pot-butter
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 (12 ounce) package (2 cups) of chocolate morsels
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix (by hand) the butter, sugars, and egg into a large bowl.
Combine the baking soda, salt, and flour.
Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir by hand.
Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them two inches apart on a greased cookie sheet
Stir in the chocolate morsels.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light brown.
Hungry? Let cool for 3 or 4 minutes and grub.
My buddy has been using this recipe for 12 years and it works perfect(same recipe that stuck me in my truck. He told me when making the butter with Kief it equals to 10 grams of weed per gram of kief so I'm technically using 70-75 grams of good weed to make with 1 lb of butter.
Keep in mind this is my first time cooking with weed or making the butter so this is a new experience in the kitchen for me.
With it already being 430 I won't be having any today since I don't want to be feeling it still in the morning when I go to work.

I have a buddy who made butter using 100 grams of bud and shake, 3 pounds of butter
Out of that he got something like 60 cookies and each cookie is insanely powerful. 2 cookies will pretty much take anyone out.
