and in response to thread.. my only preference for wheels are that they're not blatant rip offs of another design.... i dont support companies that try to make a quick buck by copying designs.. that's all!
I have one of these hanging in my office. I ordered 3, gave one to Jay, and put the other one on my car.
Y U NO LUV ROTA SLOTROLLGUY?!!1??

While I'm slowly leaving the import world, I still have the dream to put these on my 67' Beaumont.
Imagine those, on this.

I guess it wouldn't be much different than what's already been done in the muscle car world.
Back when I had no clue about wheels - 20" Katana GT10 - heavy as fuark
Upgraded to Avant Garde M368 19"
Bought both sets of these - XXR 521 and XXR 526 - both 18" in the most aggressive offsets. Boohoo I crashed my Lexus, so I sold both sets before ever mounting them
When I had my Del Sol, it's first set was XXR 501s in gloss black
I didn't like the gloss black 501s, so I sold those and picked up gunmetal 501s LOL
Then I picked up my CRX which had Enkei RP01s...
I didn't like the RP01s so I sold those to pick up XXR 537s
Bringing these tomorrow to TSS to mount them on new tires. They were meant for the Del Sol which I already sold... so the CRX gets another set (but it will serve as bedroom decor in the meantime). AVID.1 AV-19 in gloss white w/ polished lip
Willing to sell a family member for a few minutes on RS

I hate bbs or euro wheels on Hondas , I hate modern designed wheels like rotiforms on Hondas. I hate the whole hella flush stanced out thing going on.
I like period correct authentic wheels.
I like that you hate those things. I hate them as well. I do like the stance thing to an extent though. When done well its pretty awesome. When half assed or way too extreme it just ends up like a train wreck.

I just wanted to share some of the wheel design collection I worked on for Concavo Wheels in 2012-2014. I mostly sketched out some doodles, Photoshop renderings, and then modeled them in Alias Automotive for visualization for the manufacturers. I have a couple more sets that should be coming out this year. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!
