| Rear shocks bolt seized
I'm trying to finish my car and I finally got around to my rear shocks. I have tried everything. I tried heating them up, I tried using an impact gun, I have tried breaker bars. The bottom bolt won't come loose. I'm about to just cut them off and get new one, but where would I get new ones from? The acura dealership guy was an idiot and kept giving me the top nuts, and told me that's the only thing that holds the rear shocks in place. I'm talking about the bolt that bolts the actual shock to the back of the hub

The bolt seizes to the collar inside the bushing, and the only option is to cut it, because it will be able to turn without backing out. You'll have to try buying a replacement at a different Acura or Honda dealer, or you could try Lordco, Mopac, etc. if you have the specs on the bolt.

I've had this problem in my em2, tried everything until eventually the nut broke off its weld seams (the nut was actually welded, once it broke off it would just spin freely so no way of undoing it). This made it more a bitch. Only solution was the cut it off and replace it with a nut and bolt of an equivalent size. It took quite a bit of time to cut through the bolt too IIRC (ended up taking it to a shop).

I already cut my bolt off lol. My work is pissed because it's taking up a lift, and I didn't get the new bolt yet. The rubber stopper caught on fire too by accident

Did you manage to get the shank out of the bushing collar?
You need #4? http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l225...K4LV163-0g.jpg
Pretty sure it's #90181-S84-A00 for the bolt, #90181-S84-A00 if you need the bushing.

I already ordered the bolts. I haven't been able to do much else. I got the bolt out. We managed to use a jack to roll it out, now it's sitting on stands. I'll have to wait till Saturday after work to finish the job

I was about to use the torch but realized I was close to my gas tank, and the rubber bushing cost 3x dollars each I'm going to go buy a blade for my saw and cut it off on Monday
