It just hit me that the canucks can be bad yet still make the playoffs with home ice advantage because the division sucks.....
Canucks sit 2nd behind the kings right now
Not far fetched to say that a shot at the division crown is possible if teams continue to suck....

Seriously, the way the team is playing now in third periods is a big concern.
What is with these third period melt downs?? 
Good teams know how to put the opposition away with a two goal lead.
When you have the opposition down on the ground, you step on their necks.

i honestly think Willie's fucking it up this season...must be his pain meds or something or
its his fucking phobia of playing anyone whose age ends in a "teen" or whose name starts with Sven in the third period
last year we had success rolling four lines in 60 mins
this year we're shortening the bench in the third period...and look at the fucking results
i can't find the stats but the kids were playing something less than two minutes in the third
It's like his whole fucking stubborness of not playing Weber in the first few games despite the fact that the fucking powerplay sucked ass
Finally, caves in and puts the guy in and look at the PP now.
I mean, seriously Willie, what the fuck? We're not coaches but its plain and simple that shortening the bench in the third results in fucking blown leads and blown games.

will cant adapt! last years playoffs didnt adapt he didnt play his star players and give them more ice time and boom out of the playoffs...as for this year 604_boi pretty much summed it up! WD cant adapt quick enough weather its the pp, not playing kids, shortening the bench ect....always waits too long and it is costing us! I have yet to see him blow up on a ref and call them over to the bench and shit on them for fucking up! IE lastnights game when Benn clearly interfered with dorsett on the tieing goal. WD needs to fucking man up and start bitching at the refs and show some anger!

The twins really aren't that great 3 on 3, given that it is more about 1 on 1 skills and speed. Hank falls down and turns the puck over for an oddman rush at least once every 3 on 3.
Playing Sutter and Hansen in OT aren't good moves either - they just don't have the hands.
I'd go with Vbrata/Horvat, Burrows/McCann, Edler, Tanev

if the twins scored on the 2 chances they had in the first 10 seconds of previous 3on3's we wouldn't be talking about them "sucking" in 3v3.
They just need to bury chances which you could say has been an issue with the club 5v5 5v4 etc etc

They are too soft and go down to easily. its not even about youth, it would be nice to see some quick jump and speed on the rush in 3 on 3.
