If you watch the willie comments today, he said something where if they were not good enough by game 4, they would've been sent down. Also benning said it was Willie idea to announce it even for virtanen when he's not even close to 9 games yet.

Virtanen has 8 games....id say thats pretty close to 9 lol.

Even wd's radio interviews last week and week before alluded to them staying. When everyone had their panties all bunched up with the kids riding the bench in the third. WD basically said they would get more minutes and opportunities as the season went along.

Boho started off with real sparing minutes early on too, but there certainly isnt the whining like now when horvat was getting about 10 mins a game. And he was also in and out of the lineup, but it felt like he played lots because he was injured early and got a late start to the season. I think it was close to December before horvat hit his 9 games.

Good to see the kids stick. We gotta prepare for life after the Sedin and the cupboard was looking real bare until these guys came around. Remember when our best prospect was Anton Rodin? Where's Nicklas Jensen? Maybe they'll draft or trade for a good D prospect.

Wish we had one of either Clendening or Corrado still, but no looking back I suppose. Subban isn't ready yet. I wouldn't mind seeing Pedan called up for a few games to see what he can do since he is having a solid start to the year in Utica. D is by far the weakest position the Canucks have from a prospect standpoint.
