This game is like men against boys, Chicago is so much better than us they are just missing the net and Miller is making some crazy saves to keep it 1-0.
It's like the Sedin line can just barely match them and the rest of the team just get rejected entering the zone constantly....... The list they showed earlier in the broadcast of players who haven't scored in more than 10 and, in some case almost 20 (!) games is startling.

The team is on a tough road trip with upcoming games against Minny, Philly and Detroit. 
The PP better get going or else this trip is gonna be a train wreck.
Vrbata should be on the point during the PP so that he can shoot one-timers.

I'm not a betting man but I'd put good money on WD and Gully being fired by the end of January if this keeps up.
WD just can't seem to adapt to the NHL pace and has been pretty shitty at motivating players whose last name isn't Sedin.
On top of that the face offs have been horrifying and is something that clearly needs some urgent attention.

doubt WD will get fired.... with the lineup we have on paper, our record is more or less where we should be, if he does get fired it'll only be cause he's a scapegoat. Plus, we still have torts on payroll don't we?
I actually thought it was stupid to put Vrbata on the point, he's got so much more skill he should be in the slot or closer to the net where he can clean up rebounds or finish Sedin passes... leave the slapshot to Edler/Weber/Biega

Id get it too... If we lived somewhere where the city's mood wasn't literally affected by the play of the hockey team lol... Or hockey games were just a place to go with some buddies to suck down hotdogs and beers and be a bit rowdy without caring all that much what's actually happening in the game... But they're still trying to market this team as an upscale high priced product to us and it sucks ass because they're anything but at this point.

Wouldn't surprise me the least bit if he looks to sell the team if they start doing horrible for another season or two.
