Well... of course any corporate involvement is going to have ulterior motives, that's a no brainer.

he gets booed because hes good. and gets under the opponents skin

hes of course not a big of an asshole as Chris Pronger, but he was likewise booed in every rink but his current team at the moment. and he is damn good

I don't think him being a good player or his ethnicity have anything to do with being booed. Its his personality.

Hes a metrosexual douchebag where everywhere he goes and everything he does he has to be center of attention. If you ever watch in depth interviews on the guy, you would probably question if the guy jerks off in front of the mirror...

That being said hes a good person for his charity and work around the community.

MTL asks Kassian not to report to AHL affiliate. Looks like they're done with him, and seems like he's done playing in the NHL

68style 12-26-2015 07:47 AM

Lots of prospect watching today! USA v Canada at 10am pacific

punkwax 12-26-2015 08:47 AM

spoon.ek9 12-26-2015 09:07 AM

It's speculated he's being traded, hence not reporting to the AHL.

Mike Oxbig 12-26-2015 01:08 PM

Didnt bruins want him? Would help rejuvenate his career to beat up the habs and canucks lol

Jmac 12-26-2015 05:47 PM

Bergevin is pissed with him. If he gets traded, this is likely his last shot in the NHL. He better smarten the hell up and make it count.

Jmac 12-26-2015 07:27 PM

Canucks hem the Oilers in their zone for 2 full shifts, Weber makes a stupid move, results in the puck coming out, then Weber lazily skates back for the puck, gets beat by RNH, RNH goes in on a breakaway, and Weber forces himself to take a penalty

6o4__boi 12-26-2015 07:46 PM

Weber has always been garbage at defending lol

Lol I'm actually curious what the Habs can get for Kassian.

Hank can't take faceoffs...the injury bug is real

Jmac 12-26-2015 07:58 PM

Difference this year is Weber is garbage in all 3 zones yet he's still being given 19.5 minutes/game; more than Hutton, Sbisa, and Bartkowski.

Somehow WD has decided Weber is our #4 dman

0g, 4a, -9, 19.5 TOI/G in 27.7 games for an "offensive" dman :rukidding:

On the plus side, Baertschi and Vey have each been winning some puck battles lately.

6o4__boi 12-26-2015 08:19 PM

Lol the missed chances are ridiculous
Grade A ones too
This game is easily 5-1 canucks if they converted at least a quarter of those missed shots

Jmac 12-26-2015 08:43 PM

3-on-3 win? Is this real life?

murd0c 12-26-2015 08:45 PM

Merry Christmas to us?

PiuYi 12-26-2015 09:02 PM

hopefully Pedan gets more minutes, liked his toughness... reminded me of when Kenins burst on to the scene hitting everything in sight

Jmac 12-26-2015 09:05 PM

Markstrom up to 92.4% Sv% :notbad:

ed99 12-26-2015 11:26 PM

Pedan played really well tonight and made some big hits. Let's hope he gets more opportunity to play. We are lacking toughness in D so I am sure he can help out in that department.

UFO 12-27-2015 11:26 AM

Markstrom's 'style' now reminds me a lot of young Luongo when we first got him, except that Markstrom starts off deeper in the crease than young Lu. Kind of tall, lanky, over commits at times and has to make acrobatic saves to compensate, which at times makes him look like a better goalie than he actually is. It would be amazing if you could match Markstrom's body to Miller's poise/mentality.

It was trading FOR Kassian that was the mistake.
