That's one of the things that pisses me off the most about the NHL. Their disciplinary action is a joke.

It's all about how much pull the owner of a team has with the NHL. If you look at Boston, Jacobs is Chairman of NHL Board of Governors and they get the most lenient penalties. Guaranteed any other player like Marchand would have gotten 10 for a repeat offender. Look at Raffi Torres, he got 40 games for being a repeat offender.
