Gallant, the Panthers head coach, was the head coach of the Blue Jackets from 04-05 to 06-07. Dorsett was drafted by CBJ in 2006, was sent back to junior. Maybe he didn't get along with him in training camp? Would've been the only interaction and ... like, so long ago that it shouldn't matter anymore.
