I dont mind Lucic. Hes a tough motherfucker. Makes some dumb plays here and there, but you wouldn't hate the guy if he was playing for your team. The $$$ has to be right though. I think guys would be less inclined to fuck with the Canucks if they knew a Lucic would be coming after them. He can put up pts too.

I agree 100% He's been playing decent all year and this was just a bone head move by him. In a way we need a hard ass like him since we have been called soft for so many years but no question the $$$ and term has to be right!!

the money will never be right for Lucic or Byfuglien for that matter lol
i don't care how tough he'll make the team
bottom line is that he'll never be signed to cap-friendly deal...whatever team signs him will end up with an anchor of a contract
i'd sooner take my chances with developing toughness from within the organization and get punched around than having two tough guys for a couple of seasons and then a couple of plugs for the remaining seasons at $5M+ AAVs
