I agree, as much as every Vancouver fan would love for Stamkos to land in Vancity I don't see us having the cap space for him or be able to sweet talk him over here to the west coast.
Mtl would be a good spot for him, Subban and Price is better than any other Canadian team's back end.

There was something on the province blog I think it was saying they were all late for practice and sucking at practice and Hartley actually walked out of the practice after yelling at all of them.

Nathan Horton is the Leafs highest paid player and I'm ok with that. Clarkson, Kessel, and now Phaneuf all shipped out and they only retained salary on Kessel. Not bad. Lupul and Bozak are next to go I guess.

Here's a little food for thought for those of you that think the whole idea behind tanking and getting a higher draft pick is stupid. The Canucks basically need to win 70% of their remaining games just so they can reach 92 points.
There's no point in trying to make the playoffs only to get bounced. Hop on the wagon and embrace the tank!

Nathan Horton is only on the Leafs on paper (unofficially retired ala Marc Savard, Chris Pronger). He'll never play a game in a Leafs jersey due to his injuries.
