We also have a lot of passengers this year, it seems.
We have some skill and some speed, but that's it. No depth, no size, no toughness, no identity it seems anymore. JB says meat and potatoes, but I don't see any meat and potatoes on this team. We got rid of guys like Bieksa and Sestito for Dorsett and Bartkowski. Say what you will about those 2, but they did their jobs when needed. Now we have zero push back except for the occasional Dorsett ankle-biting.
The entire organization seems to have turned into a clusterfuck from the top down since 2012.

^breh its all in the tank plan dont worry! I would be seriously worried next year if they are still in shit tank mode!!! but this is what I see this summer in my crystal ball....Canucks miss playoffs ie have the perfect tank get a top 5 draft pick, they fire WD and the other shit coaching staff, find a coach and some assistant coaches that can run a decent pp, sign either lucic or ladd, sign loui erickson or someway in hell sign stamkos haha, sign a top d man or some depth ones...also drop guys like vrbata, weber, bartkowski, vey, prust, hamhuis,maybe trade burrows, trade higgins and let the rebuild begin!!!

The only players that will truly suffer are the Sedins who lose out on personal goals.

Sort of....... Indtead of paying him $2 mill a year for 4 remaining years we pay an undisclosed amount of that according to press at the time CBJ hired him... And we got their 2nd round pick. CBJ had to pay out a portion of the $8 mill owed too, so it was pretty expensive for them to hire him.

There are no rules regarding coaches salaries. Basically, when it comes to something like this, it's whatever terms the two teams negotiate between each other.

Nothing concrete since MG's final months, but considering Aquaman was meddling in 12-13 and 13-14, it wouldn't surprise me given the abundant rumours especially from trusted media sources like Friedman.
