Lucic has a unique skill set, which will command a premium. There aren't really any other players who combine his skill, size, strength, fighting ability, and temperment. That said, because of his skill set, I'd be very afraid of giving out term.

Something like a 3 x $6.5M contract would be palatable for me, but I have a feeling it's going to be more like 7 x $6.5M, which would likely be brutal the last few years.

I'd pass on Okposo. Afraid what Benning might do in the offseason. He's prob pissed at Hamhuis, along with rumours he wouldn't be re-signed anyways so rule out that re-signing. He's in love with Lucic and eriksson, and can't get rid of our players with shitty contracts

Obviously the logical thing to do would be to re-sign him but play hard ball on how much as he openly said he would take a discount. Would be logical to low ball Lucic too if he wanted to be here over everywhere else. But we've already seen this management group do some pretty stupid things, that outweighed any of the good they did.
