You're thinking of the wrong Granlund as a mentor :derp:

That would be so fucking awesome but what do we have to acquire that pick?

Virtanen? Horvat? McCann?

I'd be willing to give up any of those 3 if we could pick up Puljujärvi since him and Laine have chemistry already.

Mike Oxbig 04-09-2016 10:20 AM

probably horvat + tanev to the oilers for that 3rd pick

Oilers fans on hfboards say they would skip pulujarvi and pick chychrun lol

Devastator 04-09-2016 10:26 AM

I think it would be crazy to trade a guy like Horvat, He is only gonna get bigger, stronger and he is a leader in my books (Jonathan Toews maturity). He is a Bergeron/Kesler type player. You need guys like him to be competitive and to win cups.

The last thing the Canucks need in Bo Horvat shutting us down and McDavid and company putting pucks into our net like peewee hockey...lol. I don't even want to imagine that.

Ch28 04-09-2016 10:39 AM

It'd take a huge overpayment to pry that consecutive pick from the other team. I'd love to be proved wrong, though.

highfive 04-09-2016 11:03 AM

I wouldn't trade horvat. He's the only guy who gives it all night after night. I'd trade virtanen and McCann before trading horvat.

Scenarios that will result in us finishing 28th:

CBJ W or;
VAN SOW + CBJ OTL or;
VAN OTL or;
VAN L

Ch28 04-09-2016 12:33 PM

Hawks apparently sitting out Toews and Hjallmarsson today, so that'll help with a potential CBJ win

Gh0stRider 04-09-2016 12:48 PM

Wings clinch.... 25 consecutive seasons :)

Jmac 04-09-2016 02:20 PM

Philadelphia clinches playoff spot with win, eliminates Boston.

highfive 04-09-2016 03:30 PM

Hahaha just the idea of him getting a job back in the NHL. Lol haha

late to the party but great news that Boston's out! A loss for the Bruins is a win for everyone! (2011 still hurts) haha
Everybody say goodbye to Claude Julien aka Bill Dauterive from King of the Hill. LOL PJSalt
