its going to increase all across this year because of the expansion draft imo +cap rising. instead of handing out modified ntc/nmc for lower caps teams will be wary with 1 to possibly 2 expansion drafts coming up. so players will ask for more money if they don't have as much secutiry

We have no idea how good they'll be yet. One of them led our AHL team in goals despite being traded 2 months before the end of the season. The other played a full NHL season at 19 (though I'd argue he shouldn't have).
We finished last in goal differential by a mile with roughly league average goaltending. We need offensive production and we traded away 2 kids who have the potential to be very good in that regard.
Hodgson and Kassian were much further into their careers and considerably bigger problems than McCann and Shinkaruk. | I totally hear you, it's early yet for Shink and McCann. On the other hand we could end up with 2 extra Jordan Schroeders 3 years down the road, and what are those worth then? I think what JB has done is part of the talent evaluation he brings to the table. Like all else, time will tell

what do you guys think of our affiliate team's new duds?
not a big fan of the logo, looks more like a soccer crest...i think the shoulder patches are pretty cool though. Honestly seems like this new look is ready for the upcoming jersey ads.

The number on the top of the shoulder looks odd since there is so much blank space on the arm now. Prefer the original Panthers logo too.

those jerseys are uuuugly.
whoever designed those jerseys ripped the panthers off. copied the team Canada jersey and then added two gold lines. then proceeded to make it even worse by copying Calgary and including their state flag.
wtf are with the assistant and captain logos on the shoulder??
should of stuck with their originals, jets made the same mistake

It's ok. Not ugly, but the shield looks a bit odd for a hockey jersey. Still prefer the original logo. They used it for over 20 years, should have kept going with it.

if puljarvi drops and cbj picks tkatchuk instead then the team that has the pick number 4 has a better shot at picking him then we do. I say having the number 4 pick because oilers might trade it and that team that has it will most likely pick pulj anyways...so were still stuck at lame ass 5

It's gonna be Dubois, Tkachuk or Juolevi.
I was just looking in Wiki at the Canucks later picks. FML. Don't have a 2nd round pick due to Gudbranson trade, no 4th round pick due to Gudbranson trade, lost our 5th round pick due the fucking Brandon Prust trade, gained it back from the Gudbranson trade but it's 15 spots later. So we have a 1st, 3rd, late 5th, 6th and 7th. What happened to GMJB loving the draft?

lol inb4 Dim Jim goes off board just to push Canucks fans further into the edges of insanity
with all that has been going on with NCAA, i'm honestly reluctant to draft kids like Jost who has committed to the NCAA with 1st round picks.
edit:
GMJB never loved the draft
the guys always looking to piss away as many picks as he can

he's more likely to piss away more picks than recoup them
watch him trade Burrows and Higgins with late picks and salary retention on top for rejects and sushi

That 22nd or 25th overall sure would look good right now if we had traded Hamhuis for a 1st to Chicago or Dallas.
