Armind 06-12-2016 07:48 PM

Is it October yet?

JesseBlue 06-12-2016 08:04 PM

i didn't even watch that much of the playoffs. I do occasionally watch the top 3 or 5 plays of the night in youtube

UFO 06-12-2016 08:44 PM

We could have had that head coach. Oh wait, we did... He was working for Torts

Not too different storyline from the first time the Pens won with Crosby after Bylsma took over

I'm real curious to see what happens with MAF now. Maybe he'll demand to he traded

no Stanley Cup winning coach can coach the Canucks shitty ass stale core roster :lawl:

Sentinel 06-12-2016 10:00 PM

I'm shocked that Murray didn't get the Cup until like 14 guys later.. The post-game interview they asked Crosby why he handed to Daley, then to Dubois and MAF. Daley.. Cuz he's old and been waiting for a long time, Dupuis cuz of health reasons.. But MAF I don't agree with. Not handing the Cup to Murray who got you all those wins was such a huge slap to the face for him.

Gumby 06-12-2016 10:14 PM

Good for Bonino, too bad for Sutter!

68style 06-12-2016 10:19 PM

Sorry.... I didn't get to watch the last game but how the hell did Crosby win the Conn Smythe? There's at least 3 guys on the Pens I would have picked ahead of him (Murray, Bonino, Kessel....... as much as it hurts me to say that last one)... Crosby was non existent for most of the first 2 rounds ffs!

That idiot reporter forgot that his beloved city rioted after the Steelers won the superbowl 43 in 2009.

UFO 06-12-2016 10:56 PM

Murray is a nice story for sure. He just had to be good though from everything I read, never had to be great or amazing. Basically, he just had to be not MAF playoff edition.

I can't stand Crosby, but he does so many little things that aren't seen easily and he doesn't get the credit for. The things that the traditionalist non-analytics bunch harp on about, the intangibles. Come on, Bonino for MVP?!

6o4__boi 06-13-2016 07:40 AM

lol saw a comment last night about how MAF should've won Conn Smyth for being injured when the playoffs started

:lawl:

i dunno how Crosby won it either...feels like he got it because of who he is

fsy82 06-13-2016 08:15 AM

Crosby was a complete player this playoffs. Dude didnt need to score every game. His defensive game was legit and when the team needed him he got it done. Def pass on the game winning goal last night and a great block for the empty netter to seal the win. He also had 3 game winning goals in the 3rd round.

tonyzoomzoom 06-13-2016 08:24 AM

Definitely a season to forget...

Verdasco 06-13-2016 08:48 AM

nick bonino laughing at us with his cup

feels bad mannnn

punkwax 06-13-2016 08:58 AM

Those who don't understand why Crosby won the Conn Smythe likely didn't watch the whole series. He deserved it 100%

Almost failed you for that comment. Then I thought, you're right. He won it for who he is. One of the greats and he played like he always does - 110%. This time no nagging injuries to plague him, either.

6o4__boi 06-13-2016 10:41 AM

that's deep dude, i didn't even think of it that way
but you're free to disagree

then again, it's true, i didn't really take in the whole series...i'm basing my opinions based on the games where I saw Crosby...and in those games he wasn't really visible but i guess he was playing the details right
stark contrast to when he lit up the 09 playoffs

i was pretty indifferent towards the whole playoffs this year tbh
